Still doing my SophEx spamming--this time on BRD since I am lagging a bit. Seriously, every other run...wipe once and vote abandon. One we were at 11%; DPS was really good, just some mishaps with stacking led to a wipe. We could have totally cleared it with the next pull. Vote abandon.

Do people seriously just like not even want to try with anything?

Not to mention the outdated videos where they outline a strategy that nobody uses any more.

I really dislike the long cast of flare, thus when somebody told me it's not worthy on single target, I adjusted at once.

It is part of the lv50 blm opener. Something like bliz3, thunder, fire3, raging strikes, fire spam, swift cast, flare, convert, fire, bliz3, etc.
Essentially it's only worth using flare on single target if you have raging strikes on, you can swift cast it, and you have convert available.

Can't say much about my recent df experiences, most of them are varying degrees of tedious or outright terrible. I did remember why I solo queue into anything as ast, though. When I remembered this, exactly, is when I had an aoe balance almost immediately overwritten by an aoe ewer.

Well, my afternoon/evening of SophEx farming/pain/suffering paid off: walked away with 3 weapons (BRD, DRK, and SCH). Now to try and get the MNK fists. No birds dropped today though. Sad face.

What's an eos ? Does it increase my DPS ? N0 ? Oh that might explain why i haven't summoned this pet before.

Exp roulettes are some kind of jokes you know, you event need to heal cosntantly your tank on large pulls to let him survive.

I can't tell what point you are trying to make here. Even on large pulls unless the tank is being an idiot (Which by what I was referencing he wasn't) Selene is fine. I'm just trying to figure out why the faerie summoned mattered.

Selene would've been fine if the SCH in question had been throwing out extra heals to compensate for the fact that Selene doesn't have the skill combination I outlined in my original post. Except this SCH wasn't throwing out those extra heals. There's nothing wrong with Selene inherently, only how the player chooses to use her.

On a related tangent, yesterday I have a Jazz Library HM with my lady on Bard, me Dragoon and a random Astro/tank. Went well, burned trash fast. But... the Astro INSISTED on feeding me enhanced or extended arrows and gave our bard all the balance cards... This astro wasn't new, so I said "hey, unless it is the AOE please don't feed me arrow, I burn TP as it is" after the 2nd boss. No reply, last boss I was fed another extended arrow along with a Time Dilation... Was really confused as our bard would say "Arrow <3" on the off-chance she got one.
