Yes I pay utility bills, cell phone, mortgage etc. I also give up things in life to save for things I want. Instead of buying whatever brand new cell phone comes out once a year I can save my $700 to spend on other luxuries tho. It's give and take if people want the statue badly enough they will find a way.

You aren't purchasing the emote remember it's an added bonus for purchasing a highly detailed statue.

Sigh, the emote is not just an 'added bonus'. You are paying for the statue and emote combined. SE wouldn't be offering the emote if they didn't think it would get more sales of the statue. If the emote is getting more sales of the statue then the extra people buying it are doing so FOR the emote. Thus that price is for the emote and statue together. The emote is not some free extra. The only way to get it is by paying over $100 for something. It is, therefore, a $100 emote regardless of whether the emote alone is what is being purchased.

I'm tired of seeing people trying to reason it away as being a freebie charity giveaway from SE. No. That emote requires you to spend over $100 to get it.

Telling people to save up for it or questioning how they can't afford it is also incredibly selfish. Not everyone is necessarily as wealthy as you. Your line of argument is effectively saying that rich people IRL should get nicer things in game... That's a very dangerous route to take for a subscription MMO.

More people should be questioning why SE thinks they can charge players over $100 for access to an emote. Unfortunately the responses to this thread make it rather clear why.
