could say the same about the silly dps accepting the raise before a mechanic goes out killing them again, raise has a 60 second timer on it, waiting for that massive aoe to hit then raise can make a difference.

Is it really too much to ask when in Alex12 there's a mechanic like every 15 seconds and you are waiting and waiting for heals but healers either jump around or stone3? What's this nonsense about waiting to accept the raise when (as I said before) there's something to dodge every 15 seconds? Is a reprotect also too much to ask for?

Almost the most pathetic answer I have come across. So yeah, people are not allowed to either a- be learning, b- lagging, c- bad tank turning boss towards them causeing them to die, d- other players running telegraphs into others (divebombs mayhap), e- lose health because healers too busy dpsing and no group healing after room aoe?
I've heard things like what you said precisely from "healers" who would not do their job and then flame others. "You should not have died to start with, I'm too busy dpsing to watch for hp bars" - "not gonna waste a CD to reprotect when I can use it for dps" - "yadayada fairy op (stays way behind everyone else and fairy doesn't even reach anyone)" - "oom, been busy spamming medica2, now I'm just gonna heal the tank" - "jump.... jump.... jump... "
How dare we peasants requiere you "healers" to actually heal eh?

Healers should remember to re-protect them too because a lot of time when a dps or tank dies I see the healer will raise them and then 30 mins not re-prot them.
"Oh you take a lot of dmg!"
He doesn't have protect either.
Not saying that its 100% the healers fault because gear and skill can be the fault of the other player but it should always be in the back of the mind of a healer to re-prot after someone dies.

There can be mistakes. Such as on Sophia Ex for example. I was in Raid Finder and a ninja panicked on pairs he went from his group and went to mine and killed both me and the tank.
Yet at the end of the fight which was my only death, a healer asked me to stop dying.
It wasn't even my fault but a healer can only see so much and if HP is zero its somehow always your fault. lol
I'll give you if the healer just isn't paying attention, but to be perfectly honest DPS is not main priority. There are times where you're just not going to get a heal right away. Play it safe until you do. If the tank needs constant heals because of lack of gear, not using cooldowns, something else out of my control, etc, that DPS is going to be lucky that they even got a raise in the first place. And if they whine about it they just won't get heals at all from that point on.

As a Scholar, I probably won't try to heal you myself if I raise you, so long as you aren't in any unavoidable danger. A few casts of embrace and your natural HP regen should get you back to full. There is, however, healer etiquette. If the other healer raises, it's on me to get the DPS healthy if damage will be going out soon.
In high level situations, i expect the DPS I raised to understand when upcoming AOE damage is going out and to accept after. They also should be smart enough to use raise invincibility to their advantage.

As a WHM main it means in 90% of the times I enter the DF/RF I'll be main healing (wich also includes taking care of the Raises in most cases), so no, I don't DPS and forget to heal like you implied. Let me give you this example, during Sophia EX, if I raised you and not topped you off t was because of the following:Almost the most pathetic answer I have come across. 1 - My OGCD single target heals are on cooldown.
2 - They are off cooldown, but the tankbuster is happening and I need to be ready to top a tank if the tank swap fails.
3 - Mechanics are happening and I'm not standing still to cast a Cure II on you - my life is thousands of times more important than yours.
4 - Someone of higher importance for the party needs healing, so I'll tend to them first (my co-healer, tanks).
5 - There's Raid AOE going off and it's more reasonable to save the rest of the party than save you.
So if you're not getting healed there is a reason for that most of times. I know there are healers that stay on CS while shit hits the fan, but these are rare cases and I'm not one to do that.
Well this I must agree with, if people are dying to Mega Holy there's something happening on the healer part. It can be a DPS only type of healer or maybe both of them are new and the damage got them by surprise.

On the first death, I raise, I heal and I recast protect/stoneskin (mp permitting)
But if they keep dying over and over, my cares become less...
