Has anyone found Karakul Fleece or Karakul Ewes?

Yeah, I've been talking with people in my LS and this seems to be the consensus. A group of them combed the rest of the world we have access to and didn't see another karakul camp. I mean making Karakul Fleece needed for the Felt gear and then limiting them to one massively, obnoxiously over camped area? Not the best of moves.

We could do with a lot more of these sheep, the camp is over run and its creating a lot of tention when others herd them up, like greedy little shits.

There are other black sheep further up north but they aren't in any signifacant number.

SE please add some to gridania and Limsa area's, also consider adding Karakul fleece as a reward for high level weaver leves. (not just the standard stuff)

Decided to head to the camp as I need quite a few fleece and 100k per fleece is just stupid. There so many people at this camp. People I saw playing this game a lot are there that I thought would be rich enough to not be there. Everyone fighting over spawns making me angry. They are level 50 running around with a pack of 5 trying to steal everyone elses. This is just horrible game design.

Weaving being my main craft, the scarcity of karakul fleece is on one hand frustrating...

But on the other hand it is somewhat fitting that felt, the currently highest ranked cloth items, are difficult to obtain and therefore valuable.

Aside from just its scarcity, probably the most frustrating part of the current situation is that these sheep are only known to gather in one spot in all of Eorzea (maybe there are other as of yet unknown spots?). Therefore we have fierce competition over claiming the sheep as soon as they spawn.

Just a thought... but if SE intends to keep the scarcity of karakul fleece but reduce inter-player animosity, they should consider increasing the sheep population and distribution -- but lowering the drop rate even more.

Sure that would also be frustrating... but not as bad as getting angry at fellow players over this.

Go to Camp Glory, head south west til u found the ixali camp, is nearby there.

Speaking of snurble tufts... where can I get those?

directly SW of camp bloodshore is a large amount of level 20 snurbles that drop the tuffets, go through the tunnel to the west.

sucks for people wanting to hide this info they think is hidden.

Thank goodness! I have had nothing but issues getting the KFleece. Either people are already there and I will not steal mobs or over camp others that were there first or if I am there already I will end up getting overrun by others who fight 6-8 of the sheep at a time or bring whole groups.

I can't make the new gear without the Fleeces >.> Can we also get more locations for Boar Hides?
