Yes you are cause the first two maintenance were schedule so they only had one unplanned emergency maintenance
Go play with your dog or a random neighborhood dog, dude. It's not that much downtime. Dog slobber is a good placeholder for MMO'zing.

Perfect time for some bathing or showering!
I, too, enjoy bugs and game-breaking lag in instances.
10/10 would laugh at again

This thread has a bunch of whining about people being upset about each other talking about how upset they are. People who are familiar with online gaming are quite used to a) Patch weeks needing maintenances and usually emergency maintenances because of the very nature of pushing out content that cannot 100% be stress tested all of the time and b) FFXIV now regularly has 24 hour patch maintenances (since 2.4?).
They announced the date of the patch, we knew it would be down for 24 hours. We also know that ever since crafting/gathering timers were moved to Thursdays that the new crafting/gathering stuff requires maintenance for the implementation.
Maintenances for bug fixes and whatnot are expected. At least FFXIV doesn't have the weekly server maintenances it used to seem to have and what other MMOs have.
31 of the last 72 hours?
Its been down for maybe 6 of the last 72 hours.
And maybe 30 of the last 96, but that was to implement a new patch. I guess SE should stop adding content since it makes people unhappy lol.
Player is on Malboro which is a part of the Primal Data Center. Primal had log in issues after the patch. Which you would think people would be happy that there was a maintenance to fix lol
Wait, we had a maint, when?
The games up for me and we're still at each others necks.
Lmao. I love this place.
People aren't perfect and neither are patches. Bugs and oversights happen and often the devs need to make hotfixes right after a patch is released. This isn't the only game where this stuff happens.
So um, chill out? Go read a book? Go sunbathing?
There was only one time where there was constant maintenance. I think it was around March or April this year? It was before the daylight saving time began, and it was indeed frustrating.
Other than that, I can't really remember the last time there was emergency maintenance, or regular maintenance after 3.3 launched, and before 3.4 arrived. So it's not all the time.
Plus, I can't imagine how testing for this game is like. It's huge. So it's not surprising they take 1 day to implement big patches.
