that is a poor excuse, really....i would rather say that people use the anonymity of internet to get their darkest side out, and on the way there are young people that get caught...and some find that normal
It's not an excuse, it's an explanation.
The kids are their parents' responsibility - you can't expect strangers to consider the kids when their parents buy them games like the Grand Theft Auto...
The Internet is a really dangerous place to let your kid wander alone without a supervision and the only fix would be to not allow the kids bellow certain age to use it - of course even if we used something like ID to log in, the parents would still let the kids use it :P

The main reason why the Party Finder is not working for the harder content and so many groups disband after few wipes is caused by the players who ignore the comments.
Getting to the phase XYZ once does not mean you are ready to join parties to do XYZ.
Parties should spend most of the time doing the phase that is written in the comment not trying to get there.
I disagree, is the responsability of adults as a whole to act as adults but I agree on something, to act like adults with some brain it takes some maturity and lots of times all I see is alot of things but that. It's not an excuse, it's an explanation.

of course everybody is free to do what they want ...epitomy of a parent
GTA does have an R-rating though and is generally known as a game that is basically just a giant mesh-up of any and all adult themes the creators could think of
I cannot get behind a Final Fantasy game not being available to teens just because some adults confuse their MMO playground with their favorite pr0n site.
humm now i want to make an alt on balmung just to listen to uldah shout chat :P
The society is so much suffocating that it is hardly surprising that some people let their immaturity go wild on the Internet.I disagree, is the responsability of adults as a whole to act as adults but I agree on something, to act like adults with some brain it takes some maturity and lots of times all I see is alot of things but that.

This is a really important part of your post. It's MMORPG, thing mostly played and paid by adults, there are also time zones and at this hour etc. most of the people are mildly drunk in EU... they are not gonna care about kids after 10 pm. We can't use the same standart for a single player and MMO game even if it is Final Fantasy. MMORPG games evolve around the communities and that brings certain dark sides. In my opinion the age rating for MMOs should be higher in general.GTA does have an R-rating though and is generally known as a game that is basically just a giant mesh-up of any and all adult themes the creators could think of

Good luck, it's almost impossible to create an alts there... you are pretty much forced to transfer there.

I couldn't walk into the Quicksand with a random RPer trying to start something with me.
Once, I was actually showing an FC mate the hilarity of the Avengers monk weapon, when a couple guys, in Roleplay mode, started playing drunk and accusing me of trying to start a bar fight... All becuase I was showing off my new favorite weapon?
It was the most awkward experience trying to get them to realize I wasn't going to RP. We eventually just left.
So, thank the Lord for the new RP status icon.
As for the OP's request, take it to /tell or build a private linkshell. There is a time and place for ERP, and I really don't see how the game would benefit from a public ERP space as you suggest.
Just keep it out of /say, /shout, or /yell. Sweet mercy. There is nothing quite like running into something a little private in the middle of the world!
Some interesting reactions
In any case...if such content would offend an individual, like I said..simply don't go inside. Houses, The Walking Sands, etc..all involve places where you actually have to click/confirm to get inside, wherein chat doesn't filter out. Furthermore, private instances (just select YES when you hear the DF ring!) would serve to protect the seeing ears of people not interested.
Each location has its use where said action is executed. If you wanna skill up your goldsmithing..you go to the goldsmith guild. If you wanna work on your carpentry..you go to the carpenters guild. If you wanna brush up on some pvp..you head to the wolves den (as of 3.4) So if you wanna brush up on her..uh..your...w/e, well..thats what the Laughing Lala would be for~ (im just tossing a name out there, this has nothing to do with Elezen futas and such, just 100% random)
But seriously, so much 1-track mindedness here. Consider the mechanics potential~ Take shifts as dishwashers, earn extra esos and lore as a bouncer, craftsmen earn stuff from upkeep of the place (Weavers craft fresh bedsheets...blacksmiths keep a steady supply of iron poles, chains etc..I mean...) And for those willing to serve as a given night's entertainment....well..a good on stage or instanced performance may well earn that new glamour set youve been saving for~ Culinary applicants keep the tasty dinners and drinks going..the list goes on. In other words..there more to a luv hotel than luv lol.
And as with pvp..you cant recieve tells or communicate in fc/linkshell..so there would be no outside connection for anyone who'd object to such material. Translation..What happens at the Milky Miqo..STAYS at the Milky Miqo!~
Let's be reasonable here, ERPing is a reality whether subtle or fullblown. FFXIV is filled with the curious and the couple alike. Hell..there are quite a few married couples even. Whats the harm in a evening filled with virtual good drink, an entertaining show, and the absolute destruction of wooden floor/headboards? And like I said...if such isn't for you...simply don't click on the door...problem solved. Don't click "YES, I WANT to go in."
