I've yet to see any official or authoritative information confirming this at all, though I would say that cancelling a veteran player loyalty program is very disappointing if it happens, doing so to allow entitled children to get the stuff without showing the same loyalty would be extremely poor form also. Allowing the 1.0 loyalty stuff, or 1.0 unique items to become available now would be a pretty hefty slap in the face to 1.0 players as well. Both of these moves would be poorly received by the very customers that continue to pay the bills at SE.

Giving in to the "I want" crown of entitled whiners does nothing more than encourage that attititude among players, further damaging both the community and the game population...

I'm at a complete loss with this thread. Where has anyone stated that vet rewards are going away? What is the OP even arguing about? I'm also getting that feeling where this thread is utterly worthless and needs to be re-purposed into something wonderful, like how pretty we all look in our glamours.

I saw in a thread recently, interpretation of LL I think it was. Saying 1440 was last. Didn't clarify if last for now or ever.

If you let someone who has a mount you can't get ruin the game that is your problem. Doesn't ruin the game or my playtime seeing people with rewards I cannot get.

I'm no 1.0 player, so it doesn't bother me that they have the Goobue mount and I don't. If I want one, I can just go and buy it from the Sylph beast tribe (it's smaller, but who cares).

I think the OP misinterpreted "1440 days will be the last veteran reward" as "veteran rewards are going to be removed" instead of "No more veteran rewards beyond the rewards for having a total subscription of 1440 days (~4 years)." Its pretty muchthe OP chicken littling.

I don't think it's unfair tanks get a mount over dps. No offense but it's like a 1:10 ratio on tanks vs dps everyone wants to play dps so they implemented that for the sake of getting people to play the classes. Tanks were kinda non existent when they didn't do that.

It was rumored because they've already missed a veteran tier. (Last time I renewed, the Mog Station said I'd now get the 1080 day and 1200 day rewards. But there are no 1200 day rewards.) There's talk of maybe bringing them back at some point, but for now, there's nothing past 1080.

I think the veteran rewards should just stop where they are, so that everyone can catch up. I'd hate If they kept making them until the end of the games lifespan.

One issue is that when they're stopped, it indicates SE expects the end of the game's lifespan to be coming soon. If having veteran rewards for three years of subscriptions is treated as though new players couldn't get them, that would mean the game's not going to be around for another three years.
