I queued 50 roulette today for umbrites and I got Halatali HM. I'm SCH with a DRK NIN and SMN.

I put up all the buffs, summon, set to obey, aetherflow, etc. The gates drop and the DRK is off and pulls everything to the bridge. NBD. The NIN jumps off the bridge and aggroes everything below and pulls it up. Now, I've bane my DoTs, thrown up a SF and Maisma II and now I am STRESSED OUT. The NIN dies as soon as they get in range of heals, the DRK picks up everything they dropped. The tank is now literally tanking everything from the gate to the first boss room. I pop everything I got at level fifty, burning all my lustrates, adlo, fey illuminated roused whispering dawn. While I'm doing this, I raise the ninja.

Somehow we make it through that pull. Then the first boss happens and nobody bothers to work mechanics. The big swing is allowed to go off. I lustrate myself and the tank so we live, and I have to let the DPS die and I raise them when SC isn't on CD. I'm damaging the boss as hard as I can to make up for the dead DPS.

After the boss is cleared, I jokingly type in chat, "You're trying to kill me, right?"
The tank emote laughs at me a few times, ninja says, "yes, yes we are. It's a test."
Apparently I passed, got two of three comms.

I'm happy, but I'm also kinda like, who DOES that to healers in DF? I'm not sure most of them could do it haha...

On the subject of Selli, our little group in Sargatanas (Ashkendor/Louvain/myself) somehow managed to get her in our little Discord room. Not entirely sure how that happened (think it had something to do with Lou and trying to get cross server mentor roulettes going), but we've enjoyed her presence there.

Yes, selli and I were grinding mentor roulette at the same time for the mount but now I'm done. And "Cross server mentor roulette" isn't exactly how it works. We just queued often in the same time span.

Queued with my hubby for leveling roulette and got Brayflox Longstop NM. I was DRK and hubby was MNK. The healer was level 32, I believe. A conjurer instead of a WHM. They were new and very rarely healed me even after I had asked multiple times. I also asked if they were familiar with the job quests, no response. Luckily the SMN with us used Physick and rezzed me when I died at one of the bosses. I made sure we both gave our commendations to that guy. Thank you!

Dark Knight who didn't want to use darkside because of MP 'problem' and never once used any defensive buff, had the 230 relic weapon on top of that, would lose aggro every now and then VS the MCH...of all the classes. Kept turning the mob in sohr alai (w/e the name) from time to time towards the party, especially those small bird that cleave, not sure if it was intentional or just a complete lack sense.

Sometimes you wonder how some people even manage to get a class to 60, with how bad they play it..

Is there an epidemic of no-darkside DRKs going around recently? I've had one every three dungeons lately...

My sis has a similar problem, possibly worse. She made an alt on my account to try the game. Then she learned she could not look at the screen if mitelings were on there. Guess what class she started on? Archer. And that means a whole lot of mitelings early game...

Massive storm of Arrow cards though. I can't complain I guess?

It's pretty obvious this is far more than a matter of "a dude talking about his girlfriend" as someone put it, but there's no point in repeating myself. It's reassuring to see some players are allowed to abide by a different set of rules if they know enough people, but this thread has been derailed enough.

Would it be any different in principle if he said, "this one thing happened to my girlfriend...." as opposed to making a quote box with Selli's name on it? He's perfectly entitled to post as himself from his perspective after all...

Bottom line is Selli got banned and he didn't. Until he does something to violate the user agreement he can post whatever he wants.

I got a very funny experience in DF while trying to do an trial roulette. The MCH was so disappointed that a green leaf player was in there AKA me (ahh the green leaf can be such a deceiver. It was amusing). He pointed at me with so much worries. The funny thing is that the the other player with level 60 DRk didn't have provoke - so I ended up tanking after we wiped 2 times because the DRK couldn't do the swap. I was fine solo tanking, but you know the MCH was so against to that idea, in the beginning, but he kept silence after that.

Why is this such a big issue to you, exactly? What I do doesn't effect you in the slightest. I don't understand where this bitterness to stalk my posts and make passive aggressive comments comes from. Consider putting that energy into yourself, it sounds like you need to relax and take a break.

As for my duty finder adventures today? They were alright, I suppose. Nothing overly concerning or noteworthy. I did run into someone who had a couple of the same moogle quests as me. I wonder if they thought I was stalking them.

Gotta love being called a Elitist Prick on POTD All I asked since we had 2 tanks and 2 Dps was to help me tank other adds since they were only just focusing the one add iw as tanking when i was pulling slowly, and then when more adds got agroed onto the other dps she just went and ignored them and let them die while I was trying to grab like 5 at a time that appeared from a trap trigger -_- I even asked nicely I dont see how POTD playing efficiently without a healer is elitist? lol
