I never understood why people go so crazy over getting commendations. A lot of times people even forget to or players just leave the instance too quickly.I was in cutters cry today, and the tank got angry at me for not commendatimg him. He just stood there yelling at me to com him, and leave the instance. My response was "brb sandwich." When I got back there were at least three paragraphs on why I was such a loser, before he gave up and left. I didn't care. My sandwich was pretty good. It's was teriyaki, with delicious lettuce, toasted bread, and Japanese sauce. I even prepared some green tea. Screw drama, make sandwiches.![]()
Besides, acting like that sure wouldn't earn that tank any. Sorry you had to go through that though!
How did the tank know though if you guys were still in the duty?

I think I would have been laughing so much that my sandwich would have fallen apart. I've never heard of anyone raging that hard for coms.
No, the enemies are not harder depending on number of people in your party.I have only ever done PotD with friends so far, so this might be a stupid question, but... are mobs somehow harder when you go in with DF/random people? I keep reading this stories about how people are being little crybabies about party composition and yet my last run of 41-50 was with a friend, he on smn, I on bard, no one else around and it took us like... 30 minutes or so? So... did I missed something?
I've soloed Palace of the Dead on Summoner, and I think there are 2 main differences.
1.) You can take your time raising your level before progressing to the next area. Because if you are in matched party, everyone wants to move forward as quickly as possible. It means, when you get to the next set of floors, the enemies are pretty tough for the first 2 or 3 floors until you level up.
However, as solo, you can spend your remaining time running around on the last floor leveling up until 5 minutes remain. Then, move on to the boss.
With a high enough level, the bosses are not so hard (if you follow mechanics) and the next 2,3 floors are not too bad.
2.) Pomanders carry over (as someone else mentioned). So you can use them only when you really really need to. Which is basically going to be floors 30-40. There are a lot of tough enemies which roam around. sometimes in groups of 3. The Nightmare Gourmands, Cotablepas (or something), and Succubus. There are very annoying! Plus, floor 40 boss is tough because adds must die fast!
If you can clear floor 40, 41-50 are VERY easy. The reason is, by that time you should be close to level 60. Enemies will be at your level. So it goes very fast.
31-40 are very hard because enemies will be above your level.
When you are solo, you must keeps on your toes. Watching all surroundings at all times. Managing your health and timing potion / skill use.
With 4 DPS in a random party, most people just aren't careful enough.
SCH : Adlo = 4 stacks tank /selene although is not necessary (the skill of Selene was introduced recently before that we had to manage with Adlo and is super easy)
WHM : Esuna = 4 stacks tank, 2 dps, if you have regen use it and forget tehre is even poison
AST : aspect benefit if you have it, if not still same, wait for 4 stacks on tanks and 2 on dps before using Exalted detriment.
there are no reasons whatsoever to run out of mana or have to get mad at Healing poison more so in Bray (except if people purposedly stand in pool of poison ....but is me.
Now more seriously, Igot a run sometimes back at Ramex, I was barely geared, well just geared enough, so the message of bonus appeared, I was new to that place on that toon at a time, someone commented and said Bonus and I said yeah me the healer, next you know ...three people left, 1 tank, the other healer, and a dps...I never laughed so much in my entire gaming life ...which says, people think that because there is a bonus people are new as in totally new...wihtout really knowing if it is the case ...needless to say we got replacement and we finished no problem.

Yeah... guys don't do that. This isn't Aurum Vale where you wait 2 or 3 stacks of debuff. Don't let anyone get to 2 or 4 stacks if you can dispell it. No reason to. You won't run out of mp. Only reason to make people have stacks is being on sch and having Selene dispell every minute. 4 stacks or even 2, and boss crits or launches poison pool and does his frontals and tumults, and you WILL run out of mp with that method.SCH : Adlo = 4 stacks tank /selene although is not necessary (the skill of Selene was introduced recently before that we had to manage with Adlo and is super easy)

Stop giving wrong advice already.
it dépends what level you play it..is a lvl 34 and as far as I mentioned I said if you have it....if not. you still can let things go up to 4 stacks without problem and use esuna when it reaches 4 stacks.. if you have regen as some go there at 34 then is even easier, as far as I remember Bray is 32-34/35 dungeon...so yeah you could have it
eh?
Ok any time anywhere you want to get a lesson about that particular in Bray norm I am your *man* say it and I will be there, and once i have proven you wrong...I want an apology on these boards.Yeah... guys don't do that. Let me know
No, Regen is a level 35 skill and Brayflox syncs you down to level 34, so WHM's Regen will never be available.it dépends what level you play it..is a lvl 34 and as far as I mentioned I said if you have it....if not. you still can let things go up to 4 stacks without problem and use esuna when it reaches 4 stacks.. if you have regen as some go there at 34 then is even easier, as far as I remember Bray is 32-34/35 dungeon...so yeah you could have it
