i could only agree if housing have events like barricading your home from preventing invaders to pillage your house or making cutscene's where invaders points a bronze dagger at your throat. it could add diveristy to gameplay/roleplay.without those housing becomes irrelevant in the game becuase its not needed

You really Do hate everything related to FFXI or any other FF game dont you?

You even busted out my suggestion for Signing crafted gear?
If i didnt know better id say you hate this game and its major player-base.
Maybe you should find a game that suits your non-relevant un-needs instead.

FFXIV should have housing, and garden like Yohis-P already mentioned.

This game is based upon FFXI more than anything, not WoW, Aion or any other new mmo.
I dont even think you ever played FFXI, so you dont even know whats useful or not.

Housing is and would be a Major addon for crafters, to craft furnitures etc
and therefore increase the economy and options in the game, dont you have any imagination at all?

And finally, this game can never be FFXI-2, it dosent even have the same Lore, storyline.
So..please dont even go there for a comparrison, this game would still be in shambles if all the FFXI-related suggestion didnt come from the majority of the playe-base that played FFXI.
