Atm with the patch the average new person in my linkshell can expect their first 50 (Level 1=> 50 in about 5 days, less if they do things outside our NA event window).... These players will not even draw their weapon in a party until like rank 40. I want to know how some people are arguing this is acceptable.

It's been done before. They can do it again. It's been done in many other MMO's, and many players got bent out of shape over it. I don't think it's a ridiculous claim. Whether you like it or not it IS a possibility.

These forums are closely monitored. I know for fact, because I've had a post removed before. If SE had a problem with these topics, they'd have locked them.
