• Sending in a photo of yourself in order to obtain the Original Fat Chocobo Mount
  While your photo must feature yourself holding the printed bonus item codes, you do not need to feature your face. As long as the player submitting the photo is visible in the image in some way, and the team can verify that you possess the item code print-outs from all 3 magazines, you will be awarded the in-game item mount.

Was wondering, you needed to take a picture of all three code sheets right? I have lost the first one :S Is there anyway I can still prove that I bought the magazine and redeemed the codes? I still have the magazine and the stickers (I have also redeemed the codes) so would taking a picture of the magazine showing the issue number be ok? I'm quite annoyed that i didn't notice the photo bit earlier...

Yes, a picture of all three code sheets showing the codes that were used on your account. If you don't have the sheet, it's almost certain that you won't get the mount. Sorry.

A bit dumb that we need to take pic of them.. shouldn't be too hard to make a system that simply checks if all 9 codes were entered to account.

After your photo has been confirmed, the in-game bonus code for the mount will be sent back to you via email. Redeem the code on the Mog Station to claim your mount!

It doesn't actually say the codes have to be readable though so I totally don't plan on making mine readable either and encourage everyone else to do the same. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I don't want someone else knowing any codes I've use on my account.

I can see it now... random person talking to Square Enix: "Game code? No I can't remember that, but I do have the code I recently used for the Ifrit mask and the one I used for the butler outfit can you use those to verify my identity to get my into my account?"

Paranoid? Probably, but we've all put too much work into our characters to not try and be as safe as we can!

The mogstation should ideally just automatically add the final code after the previous 3 were entered instead of making us jump through these hoops (that will likely take time as well as emails not being guaranteed delivery/spam trapped etc and prone to unavoidable human errors).

I got the feeling it was so that at the end of the event they could use some photos as promotional material. Like, in Gamesmaster, have a wall of numerous "dedicated" buyers who got their chocobo mounts. That's, personally, why I think they wanted photos (but then it backlashed for them for the most part.) I'd check to see if you lose ownership of your photo if you send it in, they might be Facebooking us and slyly making you hand over your rights to anything you post so it can be used in advertisement.

I could, of couse, be over thinking it.

In fact, I have Gamemaster's email, I'm going to go question what they plan to do with 1000+ photographs...

GamesMaster will not use the photos provided for anything other than verification for the in-game mount item code. They will not, under any circumstances, be used in any public way or form and will be destroyed after being confirmed by the GamesMaster team.

Oh, I'm slightly disappointed, lmao. I wanted there to be more rage on this forum. Seems a bit odd though, if I'm totally honest; if they're going to do nothing with the photos in the first place then why do they need them at all?

Anybody know if buying the magazine once it's out is delivered with the code ?
