Please consider removing Midas Savage weekly loot lock-outs with patch 3.38

With patch 3.4 having an estimated release window of late September, a lot of raid groups that have only recently cleared a floor or are still progressing have very little incentive to continue raiding.

Given that guaranteed item purchases for most of the expensive pieces cost 8 manifestos, groups that won't reach 8 weeks of clears before 3.4 will be entirely reliant on RNG to get the items that they want (or the Faustlet minion). I feel this defeats the purpose of adding manifestos to begin with.

I think if the intention is to keep players playing, help existing statics stay together, and assist newly formed 3.4 statics that are trying to get a feel for raiding using current content, it's the correct decision to remove the weekly lock-outs from Midas Savage ahead of patch 3.4. At the very least, you can retain the chest system but remove individual gear/manifesto lock-outs to give the PuG and PF scene a boost.

Yeahhhh at this point it's all raiding for worthless glamour gear anyway so why not. Plus if they stick it in duty finder you won't have to waste time on the first three dudes.

In earlier days (Coil), ID trading was very popular, to skip turns which are not needed any longer. This can save alot of time

Both will come in 3.4 when people are busy doing new content instead.

Meanwhile, a lot of people are sitting there now with nothing to do.

My static cleared A5S-A8S yesterday and are just chillin' now. I'd love it if we could farm A5S-A8S even for just manifestos with friends.

I never Raided for the gear/glamour. I always did it for the sake of clearing, and because I simply like running any and all content. Heck, I still do the low-level Guildhests.

It won't happen, but it would be nice if they could also unlock the raids towards the end of the current tier. Our static is on A8S, and we usually spend around one of our three weekly sessions doing A5-7, and for progressions sake it would be wonderful to just skip certain raids so we could appoint more time to A8S.

People will still do the other raids if they need gear, but if you're past gearing then your only goal is to finish the current tier, so it feels like a waste being forced to go through it all. They unlock them when the new tier is out, but realistically at that point no one is going to bother with irrelevant content.

That's good for you, because it's all you get for raiding Midas in 3.3. The gear really is pretty much worthless at this point, and the only reason to have raid lockouts is to prevent super rapid gearing. Therefore, the lockout should be removed. Maybe put a lockout on the number of Faustlets you can see drop per week if that's the big concern.

Yeah I was actually thinking of looking into that. Maybe I'll just "accidentally" join a practice party to steal their lockout and then zone my group directly to a8s. What could possibly go wrong?

As long this practise party don't down it, while you participate, nothing could go wrong, as you see at the start which turn you enter.

More nice would be just ask them to enter+exit for the ID.
