I find that a lot of males do this to me, if there is not a chance for any lewd activities then they don't even want to be your friend. (And don't say its not about anything lewd because that's the only thing you do in a relationship that you can't do without one.) I'm quite affectionate and loving with all of my friends.

I'm happy for you and your partner btw. I probably won't have as much luck as you, as there aren't many people from cactuar on these forums I've noticed.

Me and my partner do not do any lewd things at all, we use the in game emotes such as blowing kisses, embracing, dancing, etc. We run things together and just enjoy each others company. Not all guys are wanting the lewd type relationships, there are mature nice guys out there.

Oh I know, I wasn't generalizing all of them. I was just stating that the males I meet that only want to deal with ppl if there's a chance of a relationship tend to be that way.

And herein lies the "problem" :3

As i mentioned previously, i feel that those of you who are -Friends only- are already setting up barriers, limits and boundaries before the relationship even begins.
But do not get me wrong, i am not saying that doing so is wrong, i am just saying that this path differs from the path some of us wish to pursue.

And that is perfectly okay :3 The proberbial "To each, their own".

I would like to point out, however, that many of us who are "Open and willing" are not necessarily on the hunt for a real-life partnership.
What we enjoy is the freedom and natural progression of it being one of the many directions a new relationship can take, if that is meant to happen :3

Worst is when they don't understand the language you speak quite well.
I'm not trying to offend anyone but there have been people who speaks another language other than English while I played MMO's who will constantly try to flirt with my character despite their language barrier. Yes they speak to some extent of being able to speak most basic English conversation but I'm sure "No" is pretty global....
Tell them No few times when they keep asking if I want to be their gf in game and sometimes irl (happens usually after I help them or if they help me with something), and they'll keep bothering ya till you black list them...
Not everyone was that persistent, but there are definitely people like that out there, even those who aren't from different countries :/

@ Bixillarla, that type of romance, I will never do. Unfortunately. I can't picture myself to have such romance in game and who knows my in game partner have a relationship in RL. I don't think it is correct to do so. I told someone I met thru this thread that. I am open to the possibility of somethig more than friendship, but if I were to EB someone just to friends, don't expect to have kisses and emotions between our characters. I met a person like that and they got a relationship in RL and want to have ine in game with me. It made me feel uncomfortable (there can be other reasons, but in most case, those other few reasons don't happen).

@ Sagasoluna, I agree with you. I think ppl that are open to something more than friendship are more open to make friends. I saw 2-3 apps (including yours) that made curious to want to visit them, but unfortunately our schedule doesn't much lol

@ alysanne , the problem with Internet is that makes us blind. We can't see or notice a person behavior or their mannerisms to notice whether or not they can be some weirdo. Remember just because we are in the internet, it doesn't mean we are in a different planet and some bad apples are gone.

They're everywhere, mmos, chats, gaming sites in general. Just got a random add on discord from a channel I frequent who decided to paste a picture of his sausage in the chat after literally 19 minutes of small talk. Needless to say I turned off image preview in chat.

I've said on another thread but, despite being female, I've not ran into any of these problems whilst playing. #luck
I did have a guy come talk to me on Twitch once though; asked if I was single and then insta-left when I lied and said I was married, hah.
