Except where sprint is concerned
Ugh another one of these threads. Like we don't have plenty enough.
Honestly where is the "I'm quitting because I'm bored and everyone has to know" mega thread? I feel like now's the time for it.
You nee to wait 3 months for the next complain patch... These even have patch notes sometimes xDThis thread is kind of like ffxiv... I came here looking for more content but I'm just sitting here and having to be all (Please look forward to it).
I grind these forums all the time but they are pretty easy and not too much to them. It feels like they are just copy pastaed from old threads most of the time... Maybe we will get a nice big troll thread (raid) sooner or later.
I know my english its bad, don't bully me T_T.
TLDR: FFXI>FFXIV
I think that game's still running if you need to get your fill.
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

I hope the next game has mind-blowing content. How about an instanced battlefield that people must wait in line to enter, and in it you fight the same boss over and over again until you slowly build up tokens to buy pieces of gear? That would be amazing!
Dear OP, FFXIV is not FFXI. FFXIV is not FFXI-2. FFXIV is not FFXI: Vana'diel Reborn. FFXIV has absolutely nothing to do with FFXI, aside from a few crossover events and the fact that it is made by the same company. I don't want another FFXI: Rehashed. I want FFXIV to be FFXIV. The majority of these types of threads are purely nostalgia "what I liked about XI" threads. People completely ignore all the tedious nonsense from FFXI. The hours of waiting to gather parties and do content. The fact that nobody repeated story mission fights once they "got theirs". The lockouts on content (waiting days to redo dynamis/limbus). The prejudices of the job system. Hours, days, weeks, months, YEARS of grinding for a +1 stat on a situational piece of gear that is used once to gain TP faster. FFXI is only different now, because they changed so much. In fact, they began putting elements from FFXIV into FFXI to help FFXI progress faster. The Trust system made solo play possible. The added home points acted as an aetheryte system. They started adding daily quests for more casual play.
FFXI was a good game, for it's time. When people had time. If you are excited to relive those moments, wait for FFXI: Mobile, or restart FFXI.
Edit: Should also add, that you would only play a game like FFXI for another decade, because it takes a decade to accomplish anything on FFXI.
