No thanks. The complaining from some Legacy members would be unending. They're still bitching about the sylph mount being a goobbue. Nevermind that it looks different from the legacy goobbue...

I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
You seem bitter. If I was given an exclusive reward for doing something, I wouldn't want it devalued. I actually respect the 1.0 player status, given how bad a game they were given, and the fact that they stuck through to 2.0.

Further this the tattoo was also just a 1.0 exclusive. Anyone who played 1.0 at all was able to have the tattoo.
On Topic-
I would LOVE a tattoo system that was restricted to certain pieces of gear. Why is that even a thing?
Not only have I not seen that, but I have not even seen anyone use the Goobuue mount in months.
Anywho... a Tattoo system would be really nice.
Obviously the Legacy brand would be unavailable for purchase(its not a tattoo), but some could be locked behind lengthy quests (Like getting a more detailed arm sleeve from the Sirens of Limsa, or the Thaurmaturges of Ul'Dah. Others could be achievements from simply completing all your Job quests OR how about Job quests (Hard)?
Primal tokens could get another use by unlocking Tattoo patterns, as well as Alchemists crafting some. Let's see what else... it could cost shards when getting them applied from the Aesthetician, because they see less use these days. Depending on the Grade of Tattoo, it could take 1,2 or 3 Earth days to apply (meaning you have sessions depending on Tattoo size/complexity and a 24 hour lockout till your next session)?
But ... this all being said. There is a slim chance of such a thing, considering the culture/taboo of Tattoo's in Japan.
Don't care. The player mass is much bigger for people post 1.0. I get that its a reward and all, but I know some legacy players that DON'T like the tattoo. If people have problems, its their problem, not ours. They can deal with it since they're minority now.
Well, its not about having something others don't. It's a symbol for people who were at the battle of Carteneau. That being said, people are misunderstanding OP and OP should probably edit the first post.
Everyone should have access to Tattoos if it becomes a system. But a Legacy BRAND should remain only for the people who obtained the scorch mark.
I agree! The Legacy members complain too much. I'm really sick of their special snowflake attitude, just because they played a game. I'm totally up for tattoos c:!
Its kinda funny that people keep saying this but its the ones that DONT have the tattoo that have the issues.
