About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

Although I appreciate them responding, all this rep did was repeat what we already knew. Using a questionable magazine as a 2016 MMORPG promo is still bizarre, the price for the items is way too high, claming it's the EU campaign only to specify further down that it's not, and we still have to wait for 3 months to get the codes. Also forcing us to take pics of the codes, because they don't trust us, and can't think of a better system on their end to prevent scamming, is just sad. I'm not expecting them to do anything though, it's just Europe. We're basically a fart in the ocean to them.

Making us wait longer than JP and NA was bad enough but to have this kind of promotion is terrible form. Not only does the company itself have a terrible reputation but you're using an archaic method of sending these codes out. A lot of people here haven't bothered reading a physical games magazine since the early 2000's because of a little thing called the internet. If it is possible to get these codes from a different EU promotion that doesn't require me jumping through various hoops like a dog then i will do it because you are not getting my money via this rediculous method.

Otherwise i will just stay without. This isn't 1998, sort yourselves out.

I am furious. This is not a way to treat your fans, I am aware that some people in the NA made SE reconsider the whole thing. I would be "okay" if I could buy all the magazines now, and get the codes, and then in three months, take a picture of them.
But making us wait three more months? Shameful. There is NO reason to make us wait, except for "scam" that happened in NA.
I haven't bought a magazine since I was 13. Sure, I'd have loved to pre-ordered Pokemon Moon/Sun, and get the codes. But this? I hate it. I have been waiting enough. We all have.

Think this over, it looks bad on all parts.

People don't buy fucking gaming magazines anymore, the people that do give in and buy these for the codes are going to throw them away or line bird cages with them

Why don't we take a biiiiig box and Fedex them all the magazines ? Would be pretty fun imho

NA people cheated with Amazon codes. Like I said, you will never see that ever again. As about fair chances. You have a fair chance. You can either buy a magazine or not. Your choice. Sounds fair to me.

And? EU players have to wait several months for their items and pay the equivalent of $30 USD-- a full $10 more than NA players to subscribe to a magazine few want. If this sounds fair to you, might I recommend you reassess your definition of that word. It doesn't mean what you think it does.

Thanks for responding so quickly, im sure the community are grateful for your post, however one of the main reasons people are ticked off is because of the waiting time this whole process will take.
I dont understand why we cannot just buy all 3 things, and get sent the codes instantly like NA/JP? I do understand you are trying to avoid a scam and i do know that NA promotion did have some concerns but this just feels like you guys are being extra cautious at UK's expense.

You've seen the posts.. there is like a 2% out of the entire forum post chain that think this idea is "ok".. thats it. please put them on mogstation, what could be more secure than that for you guys??? Strike a deal with amazon, give them to the us for free for making us wait this long and as a consolation for all of this.
I was hoping the feedback post would of had some sort of resolution to all of this, but really all they did was just repeat things we already have read and we are still in this situation.

I know I probably just sum everything up again but I really need to get this out.
I was looking so much forward for the maid outfit and even though we are the last of the 3 regions. I just put that aside. Waiting impatient because I knew we would eventually get our own promotion for it.
We already waited longer than the other regions and now we are supposed to wait 3 more months for the full set while NA and JP could get the whole deal immediately if they wanted to. Further we are getting pushed in buying a magazine, which probably most of us are not even interested in, while NA and JP could buy more needed things with their promotions. I was looking for a similiar handeling like the NA promotion over amazon.

Also for a person that is not even from the UK I am quite frustrated that I am getting pushed in purchasing these magazines oversea or waiting even longer for a campaign which I don't know when it is even happening.

I really hope that this gets a overthinking in some way.

I don't get why we have to send an email to verify the 3 codes for Fat Chocobo when the single codes don't need any verification. Can you guarantee that Games Master won't be using our email addresses to send unwanted spam to our inboxes (which I likely doubt it)? Furthermore, what about the SEA countries? FFXIV copies sold in Malaysia and Singapore are EU IIRC.
