I... Honestly don't mind. Everyone acts like the magazine has killed their mother, but really it's only like 15£ for the chocobo mount, the atires and the masks and it comes with a free magazine! I don't see how it's worse than buiying a million bottles of water. As for not being comfortable about posting your own picture? They don't need your face, they just need proof that you're a person and not just a copy-paste bot on the net. Just wear a mask, or end your picture at your neck. I don't think that anyone will object.

People are acting like SE come up with the worst ideas ever for simple glamour items, and a chocobo. Which is right, they do. It doesn't matter what kind of picture they want, and if you could just send a picture of a frog with a tie on, why even ask for one in the first place?

Please for the last time, buying bottles of -water- compared to buying a few trash magazines... I know what I'd prefer.

However, point is. Mogstation is here. Why is this even if a thing? "Look guys, tons are asking for these items. Let's put em on Mogstation for a reasonable fee, see how it goes." Everyone wins. People waited all this time, and this is what they deliver?

Still have to pay more than NA/JP. Still have to wait a time period longer than NA/JP. Still unacceptable.

Also I have severe anxiety towards taking pictures. I get very close to a panic attack when I have to get my driver's license/passport photo done. I'm going to have to push myself to that point for a mount? It's not exactly fair.

Or make the pictures so nasty they will never dare to hold this sort of campaign again, since they would be legally obliged to view every picture people send in.

It doesn't change anything. It's a poorly thought out method of distributing something so simple as glamour items, and a chocobo.

perhaps the reason for this is because how badly Amazon stuff was botched? And you had to show yourself to buy 100 bottles of water. Even if you had them delivered to you, you would still need to sign the physical delivery. Otherwise the person in the store could identify you.

As for your anxieties. How is that SE's problem. "Oh sorry SE, I can't partake in this mountain-bike promotion cause I HAVE NO LEGS!". It's a promotion. Not a subscription reward. Not a freebie. Not a mogstation item.

Well at least they've successfully managed to promote discontent and anger in the playerbase, I suppose that's par for the course with SE when it comes to EU.
