    ehem don't say I didn't warn and try to stop it. my guilds havn't even tried ifrit hyper mode yet we're all crafting gear and creating materia...

    we even both said " am i missing something"

    and its only going to get worse when guaranteed hq is released.

    they did a bunch of other silly things in this patch too such as killing hqing for mages because all it does now is raise the base damage of your weapon when you melee.

    they also left ancient magic aoe but increased its power so thms are now usless due to con having aoe heal AND higher dps.

    can't regen mana at all if you've attacked.

    sigh.. and the worst one; they removed ability que..

    this patch is a huge step backwards overall though it looks so nice. -_-

    There is no reason to do Batraal anymore. Nor kill any of the world NMs.

    It needs addressing asap.
    3 hours to farm 3 catalysts, = 1 catalyst per hour.
    NM gear = 2-3 gear per hour

    im gonna call this balanced, as materia is extremely hard to attach cause of this.

    wonder how much your raid gear cost ya. coz materia is going for silly prices. also wonder what's the chance of you losing your raid gear, coz ppl are seeing how much materia they can attach and losing everything. but i guess the biggest point is you say raids are now useless, don't any1 do anything for fun anymore?

    Are they? I thought that we could equip our own items, and have full control over what we wear, see and do. But ok, let's move on...

    I just took all my gear off and equipped my materia crafted boots. Now I have a sword and ma bootz! Weee time for naked fun, as you say, im just as powerful with only this item.

    the drops can also be fitted with materia from what I can tell. So if you add materia to the dropped gear it would be better than crafted gear with materia.

    wow i can't believe the responses in this thread. lets all not care that the main content in the game is obsolete. mmos are for raids and teamwork if you want to craft and or play alone go play farmville.

    Stop crying pointlessly, the best way to create materia is grouping, just like gaining exp. So materia IS group content if you want to make it quickly.
