I'm sorry but from what i get from these forum posts, the elitist would be most of the decent to good to great players who want to try and help others to improve too, and the total numbers seems more like 10%, from what it show in those threads i would suggest a 50-50? ^^

Hold on, I've got this.
^ This one actually makes a lot more sense, seeing as if you look at content coming out, a good portion is glamour stuff, rather than actual mmorpg content that'd give you stuff to do for a while.
"Who cares about actual long lasting fun content when I can slap on my RP icon and wear a pretty dress!"

Happened to me last week. Our DRK kept saying we didn't need to tank swap, then he died and blamed healers. He had 17k HP. We wiped twice.
Then he quit when we asked him to swap, and then we beat it with new tank.

Bit behind on responses, but a couple things...
Does anyone in these scenarios just say outright, "Be aware, this is actually somewhat difficult compared to most other stuff, and everyone, down to the last DPS, needs to be on the ball. Please pay attention to what's happening and if things go sour, try not to get frustrated, just stay focused."
Like, you're gonna get some nigh-insistent snoozers in Tam-Tara or whatever, but by the time they've hit 50 or 60...hell, by the time they hit Stone Vigil...they'll have pretty much woken up enough to digest that advice. Speaking just from my own experience, it has had good results.
As this is using the tools available in-game to deal with a potential problem: Yes, this is entirely reasonable. You don't need anything more than this to remove someone who's being counterproductive in whatever way.

So what I'm gathering from this thread is that it is elitist to expect a lvl 60 dragoon to use heavy thrust, the chaos thrust combo, and phlebotomize, the basic, lvl 50 rotation.
I have encounted way too many lvl 60 dragoons who just spam the full thrust combo, and maybe jump here and there.

I'm going to call BS on that one. Seems tons of 60 dragoons and never seen one do that ever.

Yep, sadly, that's pretty much this topic and the other one going :/ Suggest how to improve or even ask for someone to do the basic stuff that the game taught you to do 30-40 levels ago and somehow you're elitist. So what I'm gathering from this thread is that it is elitist to expect a lvl 60 dragoon to use heavy thrust, the chaos thrust combo, and phlebotomize, the basic, lvl 50 rotation.

I'm gonna have to call BS on you calling BS, cuz I've had more dragoons that don't know the basic rotation than those that do. But then, you don't seem very reasonable after reading the last few pages, so I don't expect you to accept this anyway.
