I like a lot of those dresses, especially the Miqote one. I could picture a 50s american event where they give out a nice dress like that.
Of the dresses you showed I think:
1 is the best, SE get on that, lol
2 is simple but feels like something we have already, I could be wrong though,
3 looks like the Au Ra night shirt extended, which might be nice but if implimented I feel it would be a clipping nightmare or look too ridged, and a dress like that should not nook ridged,
4 looks like it would work better as a top to pair with a long skirt or nice pants and heels,
5 the Minfilia outfit probably doesn't need anything said about it other than it's in game can we have it and the male equivalent,
6 is a nice outfit but might be too tight, you could maybe turn the underpart into a type of pants maybe for a similar look, but regardless this outfit screams ASTRO, lol,
7 looks nice but since the outfit isn't in a basic position its a little difficult to figure how it might work in game,
8 is very nice but I feel it would have to be like the Thavnarian dress, with the sleeves as a seperate piece.

I am all for exclusive glamours like this for girls, we just need an equal amount for guys, that look like more than just a shirt and pants.

Even basic running and walking animations would make such a tight dress impossible unless they were to go add modified animations specifically for dresses of that type. And we already have plenty of footwear with high-heels unless you're specifically referring to something closer to pumps or really high heels in the vein of 8-inch stilettos*.

*And do consider that high-heeled footwear wouldn't increase your character's height. In FFXIV high-heeled shoes shorten your character's legs in order to keep you from getting taller and possibly screwing with a bunch of animations.

I know skin tight dresses are not possible. I only said slightly more form fitting. Like basically enough to not interfere with animations, and suggested hiding other equipment slots to prevent clipping. Sorry I wasn't a little more clear on that.

And I'm not sure which heels you're talking about. The ones I know of are the ones you can get in the Gold Saucer, there are also some boots with a similar sized heel. I'm not talking slutty stripper heels that would force new animations, but maybe something more similar to wedges. I don't think raising height is all that important.

Them stupid 'grafted to our body' shoes that magically appear when we have unequipped the gear in the shoe slot.

It's pretty hideous when people add a long skirt to, say, the Southern seas swimsuit. Apparently a lot of people think it looks cute, but it does not.
