    4.0 announcement in october is this legit??

    I don't think it is. I tried to look through the interview as hard as I could, and found no concrete evidence. It seems to be something the media came up with for click bait.

    That's not right. 3.4 should hit around the end of September. 3.5 will hit around the end of Janurary/early-February. 4.0 will be 3-4 months after that, so May-June '17.

    Yes its going to be announced in October, remember that we were in patch 2.3 back in 2014 when they annouced Heavensward. They only showed a trailer of the WoL entering Ishgard and changing into a Dragoon aand hinted to the next class being a Dark Knight. They did not show the new race, untill December 2014, that is when we already had 2.4.

    So yeah, seeing the next expansion being announcement is very legit.

    Even a google translate on the gamewatch page of the interview makes it pretty obvious that they're planning to announce 4.0 at the Fan Festival in October.

    Well, maybe it is not clear, but, 3.0 was announce at october 2014 too. So, could be.
