Not sure why everybody assumes that this is an issue of the duty finder. I've been doing everything via duty finder since the release of heavensward. I find this kind behavior more via party finders or premades than anywhere else. Sure DF is hit or miss when it comes to specific content, however never seen anybody act like that via duty finder and especially not if its leveling dungeons. We do have speed runs since 2.3 content, and in most cases if the healer/dps don't like the way a tank pulls, then there just one option, que as tank next time and set your own pace. Not saying I support what happen to the OP, however throwing it in the stereotypical it's the DF's fault or the whole community is toxic drawer is as wrong as the people that treated OP in that kind of way.

The only thing you can do is to dps and let the tank die if they can't live till the end of your rotation or be nice and tell them to revise their defensive CDs before that. It's quite possible the tank was also bad in skill along the attitude - you would still be kicked but sometimes the point is more important.

It is quite normal that when the group is a premade the random guy gets the blame - unless you are a tank then everything goes smoothly. Actually playing one of the tanks is a good piece of advice for doing solo Qs ^^

There is also the option to be proactive and PF the content which is quite often much better suited for your needs.

I guess you've had some bad experiences, but don't get too upset. There are many players out there with the most different reasons to play like they do, they have no time, are tired of the dungeon or some other reason why they need to rush. It can be frustrating but try to handle it like some hardness test, proving your skills or even to improve them. If you really just solo queue, you know you can't influence who will join your group. As some guys mentioned, build your own group with your attitude, maybe you'll even find some friends so you don't need to queue solo anymore or get the majority on your side at least.

I am sick of this "speed run" junkies who are too stupid to take dungeons at a nice, manageable pace, the way that the game is intended to be.

Yet I get kicked for basically asking the tank to slow down. Its funny how this game is like every other MMO and built to cater to large groups of player rather then individual players or solo players.

Obviously this is an MMO, its a multiplayer game but I shouldn't have to be bullied by foreign premades, abusing the kick player feature whenever they feel like it. Its disgusting that Square Enix hasn't sorted this out. People cannot be trusted with a feature like that in the game because people will abuse it.

I cannot enjoy any of the environments of new dungeons or check out any of the different features, like the signposts in the Fractal Continuum because of these mindless idiots. These idiots just ruin the game for me.
Lame that you were kicked, but to be frank, I have a hard time understanding how one could have fun in a dungeon if you were not going quickly. Slowing down the pace of something unnecessarily almost always results in frustration and boredom. Take something simple like walking down the hall to your kitchen. Go do it, ok it took you (let's say) 10 seconds. Now do it again, but this time take 20 seconds. Was that 2nd trip not an infuriating/frustrating experience? Who cares that it was only 20 seconds, it drove you up the wall. This is how I feel when people make me go slow in a dungeon.

That's your perspective. Meanwhile, on the other side, the other person always takes 20 seconds, doesn't understand the rush and is annoyed by you demanding 10 seconds of him when he'd rather just take his relaxing 20.

Pretty much the basic issue of random grouping - difference in playstyle. For all you know, you might play with a lightly senile granny that has to frequently re-read the tooltips of her skills to remember what they do.

As a tank myself I find it disgusting when people refuse to slow down when politely asked to.
5-10 Minutes aren't going to hurt anyone, especially since you'll only be prolonging the run if you provoke a wipe due to a struggling healer.

It doesn't happen often but some of the people queueing together are having too much fun being jerks under themselves and teaming up against "a single random" to notice that they can get punished harshly for their actions.
Hope you did call a GM on them.

Why don't you create a PF if you are looking to run with a certain type of person? "Fractal Continuum - recruiting sign-post readers and auto-walkers to enjoy scenery"

Using DF you open yourself to run with whoever else at random

You could return after the dungeon is finished if you want to see the sites and examine the details I suppose, just a thought.

I am a PLD. I go into every dungeon planning to pull as bug as possible because that's the most efficient way to do it and the only thing that offers a semblance of difficulty.
If I see that the group is lacking gear, I will pull a little smaller.

    Gasp! Foreigners!!

Maybe you should only do FC runs or use the PF to avoid these foreigners.
