I had a fun day yesterday xD
Did Trial Roulette and once again got final steps. I gave very brief mechanic breakdown (only told them to kill middle add first and dodge AoE's). To my surprise, the party was doing amazing. We got to the last phase and had Nidhogg down to 5% T_T Right before Nidhogg appeared, I placed the waymaker and told everyone to stack on A when I call it. People were doing great... then my controller died. So I quickly jumped up to plug it in... I was literally on the A marker when it died, but I couldn't get the msg out to stack in time (my wireless keyboard was too far away after I jumped up and plugged in my controller). We were doing AMAZINGLY well too... but the one time I couldn't type "stack" the person who had the marker didn't stack and nidhogg proceeded to 1hko them. Then because people got confused, some tried to move and stack on him since he didn't hit the marker while others were standing on the A. We wiped T_T I was so sad because we should of had it. To make matters even worse, they couldn't seem to replicate after. The next few goes were bad wipes. People getting hit by the line AoE's like crazy, just a mess. It ended in a vote abandon... Was very disappointing considering how amazing everyone started.

Next story, since yesterday was the reset, I went into A4 to get my gear. When the double adds drop, I grabbed brawler. He glowed and I saw two cannons, so I proceeded to turn him towards the party... And 4 DPS and 1 healer are down.... Next thing I know, people are yelling, "why did you turn him with 1 cannon!!" ._. Apparently I need to get my eye's checked.

And now imagine a vote abandon at the second boss because the alliance actually sucked.

Yeah, I guess it seemed a little mean of me (and I was still a little "omg..... this is seriously happening...? ....oh gad this this is a thing that happened! NON TANKS BEST TANKS. D: D: D: D: ohgadthischaos |||OTL" when I wrote it - and now that I think of it and it's not 1am in the morning, one alliance's tank excuse was "because he was new" while everyone was fighting over Alliance chat... which is no excuse for not taking the boss off DPS and healers), but it was a little suspicious by the way people were constantly screaming "oh the lag!" in excess over alliance chat. If my own FC mate wasn't lagging in a dungeon we'd just run beforehand (but not outside the dungeon), I'd assume they were really a pre-made trolling party or so.

I guess I was lucky that there were no language issue toxicity for that, like you had :/ (I've never run into that situation, though... I hope I never do. My Spanish is so rusty, I can only read a general idea of written words and completely lost when hearing it spoken >_>)

I've got a story from just today.

I Que for leveling roulette as a warrior and I get Aurum Vale. Great.....

Anyway It was Me as Warrior, Bard, Astrologist and a Ninja. No first timer message came up so I assume everyone knows what they're doing.

First room goes okay as I pull small groups of mobs one at a time and try to make life as easy for the Healer as possible. Trash was dying kind of slowly but it's DF so I don't really sense anything amiss yet. Anyway we get to the first boss and he goes down with no issue, besides it being kind of slow. Next set of trash goes alright until we get to the second boss.

Now it went alright for the first part until the boss decided to do his big swing attack, the attack everyone is suppose to clear out for. Well the ninja decided that he didn't need to do that and promptly gets destroyed by it. No effort to try and get out of the way for it. He just sat there and took it. Sadly the healer got hit by it too and we wiped.

Second try and it goes smoothly besides the ninja getting nailed again and dying but we didn't wipe so whatever. He has also not used goad once for the entire dungeon, but since I see that a lot I didn't say anything. Suddenly the bard pipes up during the trash leading to the final boss on how bad this ninja is.

He was right too, this ninja may as well used a wet paper bag as his weapon because he was doing next to no damage. According to the bard. He was doing 4 times the damage the ninja was doing. I, as a warrior in defiance, was doing 2 times his damage.......

He used no dots, no slashing debuff. Nothing. His gear was also nothing to write home about for this dungeon. He wasn't new either. I think at Aurum Vale he should have somewhat of a clue on how to play his class. Anyway once we get to the boss he AFK's and we deciede to kick him since we were getting no response from him and he was gone a long time. The vote passes and we get a BLM. We clear the boss without any issues.

It's ALWAYs the ninjas when I tank....

This was just last night, I decided to do a 50 roulette as a tank (War, i224 with penta melded crafted acc) which is pretty geared. Got snowcloak, the only non-60 was a DRG, I quickly checked the SCH and MCH gear, looked like a decent mix of i200-210.

The first pull, I pull to the wolves, pop vengeance, bloodbath, unchained, beserk while spamming overpower and pulling close to 1600 dps. I notice my health becoming dangerously low, so instead of switching to deliverance then hitting equalibrium for TP, I instead stay in defiance to heal up. Only 5 mobs left and close to death, I look over at the SCH mana bar and it is still full then I look at ACT and he's done hardly any DPS. I'm figuring he'll heal me any moment then right before I hit a panicked holmgang, I die and shortly after the rest of the group dies. I didn't think anything of it at the time.

We reform and run back out to finish the remainder of the mobs when I get the shittiest comment from the SCH who says "next time you pull everything, try popping a cooldown." Many people will tell you I am a very patient and understanding regarding FFXIV and I rarely have moments that get a rise out of me, but that comment just put me over the top. After verbally trashing the SCH (which in hindsight I felt kinda bad for doing), I finished the rest of the dungeon in a cold silence, doing more baby pulls as I realized the SCH was only fairy healing me.

Ran into a tank that use Provoke on the pull and on cooldown because he thinks it's the primary threat-generating skill, and refusing to believe otherwise when told. Perhaps the skill tooltip could use some work.

Equilibrium isn't either, it's just my normal large pull tactic I've done so many times on my war, my fingers were auto-doing them. I did pop every single CD I had, thrill of battle, second wind, convelescense

This is more of a horror story for my boyfriend than it is for me. XD

So we were doing WCoM and he gets stuck MTing. Since he's a really good tank healing him is absolutely no trouble, even when things get hairy on Ozma. We wipe one or twice there, but we are collectively the last Alliance alive (and then B told us to "pick up the slack" even though they were the ones wiping. It started Alliance A and C collectively chewed them out, lmao).

Now, we get to the last boss and this is where my boyfriend really shines. When the boss is about to do Haircut, he rotates her so that way the side with the cleave is facing more NW or NE than just straight down the middle. Alliance chat is freaking out because he's saving a lot of stupid people and a lot of them have never seen tanks do that before.

We get to the point where basically everyone goes down so I through out an LB3, I think it's only my 2nd or 3rd one of the run. For some reason my party is calling me a clutch healer and praising me for... some reason. I literally didn't do anything special.

So when we walk out of the dungeon, I have 5 commendations and my boyfriend has the 6th. orz And I felt so bad because I didn't do anything too abnormal or strenuous, I didn't really deserve all of them, I felt like he did way more work than I did. QwQ

BF and I do most DF stuff together too and often I'll get a comm or a lot of them lol and sometimes he gets none. Every time that happens he's like "that's it! I'm gonna fantasia to a female character."

He thinks I get them cause I am female lol I keep telling him its just because healers seem to get a lot of comms. He just doesn't believe me! lol

Yesterday I did trial roulette as a DRG. I got thok ast thok.
Every single person in that party got a vulnerability debuff of at least 2 stacks or more except me (I have none LOL) :/
People were dying like flies but we still won.
Not a single f*** was given that day. XD
