Question about the FFXIV-Amazon Deal

I hate that they advertise this as NA, but it's only Amazon.com. It's as if North America was US-only, when Canada is right there too. But we use amazon.ca.

The promotion will likely carry over to the Canadian equivalent. If not, Amazon.com ships to Canada without additional shipping charges (in most cases). You can also simply order a time card and have the code emailed to you.

I'm not sure Time Cards are an easy alternative for Canadians on Amazon.com because, if I remember correctly, they're considered digital games and those are tied to your account's location. Canadians can't download digital games on amazon.com because it simply won't let us. The same goes for e-books.

That said, there are ways to get around it and other options we can get shipped from amazon.com so it's still possible to participate.

I got a 30$ game I had been eyeing and it cost me 39$ CAD. Not a bad deal but careful which game you choose, some have duty fees and some don't. Like persona 5's duty fees were almost the same price as the game for me...

Because there's a HDMI cable you can buy and get the code, its 5$ but, for me, with shipment jumps for 27$, these 27$ counts for the promotion or just the 5$ for the cable?

The order, before shipping and taxes, has to be 19,99$ or more.

I purchased a game I was planning to buy anyway and received the codes for all the items.

HOWEVER.. the Butler outfit (I assume the maid outfit as well, but didn't check) does not go into armoire.. which is a huge problem. I don't have 6 spare slots that I can keep tied up with a Butler outfit forever.
