Now the real question will is, will EU/AUS get a promotion for the outfit in 2 months or will we get it next year?

According to SE Press: http://press.na.square-enix.com/rele...y-xiv-patch-33
"...from June 14 through June 27. With a qualifying purchase of $19.99 (tax not included) or more from the Videogames Department of Amazon.com"
Videogames Department
It seems like anything from Amazon's Videogames Department of $19.99 or more will be qualified for the code.
Now my question is: "...digital code to unlock exclusive in-game items including an original Fat Chocobo mount, Maid and Butler attire, a Titan-themed Crag mask, an Ifrit-themed Inferno mask, and a set of 99 Magicked Prism wings"
Original Fat Chocobo (Yellow ones)!?
Hopefully I am wrong and it's White Fat Chocobo...

Yeah, the original is the white one.
I'm hoping I can just get a game time card and it'll give the items.

So the event ends on the 27th...star ocean is released on the 28th...will pre ordering/paying for star ocean count for this?
Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man... Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of sashimi?

Can you buy like 2 or 3 things to get to 19.99 ? or does it have to be 1 thing that is 19.99 or more?

This is what I want to know. There's an item I've been eyeing for a while but its just below by a couple dollars thanks to a sale. I wouldn't mind getting it plus something small.
It just says qualifying purchase, which is the same terminology they use for free shipping cost minimums and Add-On items. At this time, given there's been no other indication to say otherwise, I'm going to say it's a safe bet that you can treat it like their add-on items. To qualify, you just need to have a totaled purchase amount to 19.99 (pre-tax) or more.
In other words, it does not matter quantity wise. You could buy a single $20 item or buy twenty $1 items from the video games department.
