That seems kind of insulting, are you implying anyone that spends time on the game and has their crafts leveled and has a lot of gil are just students or people that live with their parents?

It is insulting. I have a full time job that I've been at for 10 years, live in my own home, have family and friends and still have all my crafters and miner/botanist at 60. I went from never having much gil to saving up 7.5 million before the patch hit. I actually spent 4,250,000 on my plot (on one that opened up the day before the servers went down) to avoid the Black Friday that I knew would happen (and it did).

What is interesting to me is this poster is an English teacher, but cannot seem to write proper sentences.

Purely battle class characters can make plenty of money themselves. You are just blind to the avenues available to you, available to everyone is the two free retainers and even as battle classes they can litteraly generate money hand over fist for you without lifting a finger.

Ok so please tell me what's would be the best plan for me I work from 8:45 am till 6pm Monday to Friday. By the time I get home it's like 7:30pm I have to eat dinner of course and I'm so tired from my students I can only play for about 1 hour to maybe 2. Because once it hits 10 I just wanna go to bed. Also keep in mind I some times have to work on Saturdays in Japan school are also opened on Saturdays. Then there is the time difference as well. I'm still playing on a UK server because I'm still learning Japanese. So with all this info what would all suggest would be the best way for me to make Gill with out losing interest and it becoming o feel like a chore. Where I am actually making back money that I might have to spend to buy the items I might need to craft something?

Know I'm not you reading to hard into it. I'm just explaining where I am coming from and giving more information about my life. Because they had decided to look at my profile. OP, I get what you're saying. I'm in the same situation like you but for me, it's down to pure laziness. Here's what I did, that weekly drop from Void Ark? I used it for Materia and sold the materia. That is how I got my house today. Before then, I miss the opportunity to farm T4 for Allagan items to sell. Everyone is right tho, there's many ways to make gil. Some faster than others. They just recently increased the gil amount from the daily challenges. Just doing your dailies can net you some nice gil.

That's the thing though I'm actually not lazy at all it's just trying to finding the energy to do everything my students really do drain the life out of me. So I would love to have all my DOL/DOH at level 60. But sometimes I get so tired that I full asleep. seems like from what I have gathered from what people are stating is to ether get jobs to level 60 make glamour prism or like you said dungeons from daily rewards.

Have you been selling the materia V you can get from turning in mhach matter every week?

How about using your retainers to get stuff?

There is some money to be made in selling certain levequest rewards too.

If you ever decide to pick up gathering, there are lot of things you can get that you can sell for decent money too. I don't know about your server, but I can net ~70-80k just from selling a map each day. It's like 1-2 minutes of effort.

If you ever decide to pick up gathering, there are lot of things you can get that you can sell for decent money too. I don't know about your server, but I can net ~70-80k just from selling a map each day. It's like 1-2 minutes of effort.

I am pretty sure I whined about the cost of housing on the forums two or so years ago as well.

I have no crafts leveled (6 CUL lol) but I finally managed to buy a small plot the other day.

Tank expert roulette everyday for that bonus, solo coils and extreme primals for items to sell, and send your retainers out on quick ventures often for more items to sell. It is going to take a while for the gil (over a year for me) to accumulate but it is not impossible to buy a house with no reliable source of income.

Sorry, I should've better phased it. I'm not saying you're lazy. I'm saying that I'm lazy. But yes, with Beastmen Dailies and Roulettes, and Leves, plenty of ways to level your Crafts and Jobs.
