You're using Fisher to get the Blue Scrip Letters for Sand? Any good fish to be on the look out for, for the Gathering Blue Scrips?

Illuminati perch, use patience (not patience II), medium tug and powerful hookset. Bait is brute leeches. You can get the scrips very quickly and easily this way, but you do have to keep buying some more brute leeches from time to time from the scrips themselves. Small tug and large tug, dont use a hookset, just reel it in normally and hope the fish gets away to avoid the long catch animation.

Though what are the requirement stats to get this Fish? I feel like I always lose a fish sometimes and I wish higher stats equals easier time catching and going over the limit means a 100% catch rate instead of a stat cap.

Not 100% sure about stats needed. But if you can get then, get 829+ collectability on a few of them, trade them in for blue scrips, use them for brute leeches, then go catch more. Brute leeches have a higher catch rate.

I manage to get one Illuminati Perch and add another 48 Blue Scripts to my count so I had 153 Blue Scrips to use so I got 100 Brute Leeches. Should help in the long run. Just keep using Patience and Powerful Hookreel, right?

My Gathering is 494 and my Perception is 444 so I shouldn't have a problem, but I hate when you tug them in and the fish still gets away. My only beef with Fishing in this game really.

Yes, i capped my blue gathering scrips using this method very very quickly.

I find that I get much higher chances of getting the 829+ with the Jig compared to the Leeches. I did an hour of fishing and I had more chances of breaking the 829 with the Jig on a normal fish instead of a Leech collectability. The leech ones always gave me low 400-600 unless it was HQ Power Shot.

Odd. I'm serious though when I say: Half hour with the jig gave me more 826s normal catch then the Leech. Ah well, whatever works for both of us!

I've not had too much trouble catching them even as low as 475 gathering, 411 perception. I'll lose one every now and then, and it's rare that an NQ will have sufficient collectability to turn in for blue scrips, but the HQ always have enough.
