Saw there were only 11 dinosaur fossils left for sale on the server, just enough for one full set. Have been mentally picturing it in my (hopefully) new garden so grabbed them as the server closed. Trying not to think about the 7M gil it cost me...

Anyone else gone housing mad?

I did the opposite! I've been (slightly obsessively) planning designs for my house, making a giant list of furniture and the materials I need then ticking them off as I get them. I have noticed some prices are getting inflated already though, things like materials that drop from dungeons eg amdapori stones.

It will really suck if I don't manage to grab a house now!

I have heard people talking about buying gil on my server to purchase houses. I don't expect to get one, they are too expensive anyway.

I remembered too late to buy up all the housing stuff so I can sell it when prices go up with the great new demand..
By the time I went to the MB, other people had already done that xD

So instead, I made a list of the ingredients I need to gather for making the stuff myself.. :x

I did this by actually buying a house yesterday. There was an open small plot in Lavender Beds with a nice front yard view of the big waterfall, so I snatched it up. Why? Mainly because I was kind of panicked at the thought of the Black Friday effect that will probably happen when the servers open.

Well i tried my best to save up before patch, 2.1 mil is no where near the amount needed even for a small house :/
Currently on Leviathan i checked every area and there has only been 2 Medium size houses total available, small and large are all taken. Thinking after patch what ever is made available will be gone.
Damn my spending on glam.... lol

If you have gathering leveled check prices for things such as limestone, granite and mahogany logs since these all have to be gathered and are used for a nice chunk of housing items. Also you can try reselling items off the housing vendors in the various housing ward as you can up the price on those quite a bit for people too lazy to look up the vendor locations. Good luck!

More like panic crafting. For the last few weeks, I've been crafting my rear off trying to fatten my wallet andand make items for a house. Not to mention the gathering of basic ingredients for house parts. If I don't get one, I'm going to be crushed. Especially since I saw a medium house pop up available in the Goblet just a few days ago... and no one was jumping on it. It was 35mil, though... I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a medium. I'm gambling on 6am EST. It really does feel like Black Friday as someone else said.

after only playing for a total of 4 months buying a plot in my 3 man FC is going to be impossible but hoping I have farmed enough mats to ensure that I will be able to make a little Gil to go toward buying one in the far away future when the craze starts to die down BUT not holding my breath for this
