Should I get offended every time I get called a potato or a football? (At least you don't become an inanimate object)
Should Au Ra get offended every time they're told they have skin cancer?
Should Hyur get offended every time they get called boring?
I could go on, but that's not where I was going with my first comment. I was commenting something I noticed in these forums that I found entertaining.
Disclaimer: I'm not defending the people who say what you mentioned above.
(The answer is no, btw. If you like your race, then own it, but don't bash on people who don't like it. Two wrongs don't make a right)
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

Lohengarde Wyb!
I rarely get called a man (thought it happens and I know it's on purpose), but I am mistaken as a highlander the most.
I have been a Roegadame for a short time and so far, players have called my character pretty. I was expecting people to insult me, but instead they praised me. Are Roes less popular, yes, we can not deny this, but I do not think they are ugly.

Au'ra looks really nice but one thing forced me to go back to my Miqote
>that annoying voice.
But they have the best poses/emotes in all the game ( in my opinion pls no curse )
The rest of the female races (except lalafels ) looks around 30-40 years old so no thanks.
Maybe it's super stereotypical, but I feel like I can't play anything but mooncat males! I've tried to play other races/tribes but I always end up back at mooncat male pretty quick. I love their emotes (especially the shocked and cat nap emote), cute little fangs, and their darker color schemes. Also don't have to deal with the high-pitched voices from the girl cats, which I don't personally enjoy listening to much.
I love looking at male Au Ra! Their grumpy expressions and way of standing are so funny to me. IMO, it somehow looks as if they are always a little uncomfortable to be where they are? I just headcanon them all as somewhat socially awkward and that makes me want to say hi to every one I come across. XD
I think Roegadames are super pretty! I have a max height lady roe retainer and I love calling her and watching my character suddenly have to look up two more feet to see her face lol. Also lady roes have some of the best race specific hairstyles in the game, IMO.
Good Light, yes! My wife and I play the same combo. She’s the tough, proud roe paladin who takes crap from nobody and I’m the introspective, country boy lala white mage who likes helping the less fortunate. Best friends for life! The screenshots of these two are adorable.I like playing as a Lalafell! The sheer size difference between my character and the world makes the game so unique to me. I have a strong preference, however, for Roe females! Mostly, again, because of the extreme size difference. Lala/Roe relationships seem so cute to me. Rare though they may be.
Awesome! Consider this term yoinked. The proper term is "roegadame.”
It’s sad that there is so much prejudice in the game. It’s silly because we are talking about fictitious races. So folks, can we cool it? This thread is about which races we players enjoy playing. If you cannot express what you like without putting another player’s chosen race down then you don’t belong in this thread. It might be due to the fact that we get called men. I've had randoms call me a man with tits, tranny, cross dresser, etc in dungeons. Hard to not take offense at that.
Hyur highlander; mostly for the story behind most you npcs you meet in the game, we're the refugees that beat the odds and will pay the garleans back 100fold if/when the ala mihgan expac comes out C:
Femroe forever.
As a former Highlander, I agree! Assuming we'll go to Ala Mhigo in 4.0 we'll see a lot more Highlanders.
