One time I actually ended up in Satasha as a Warrior, with two Arcanist with similar names who both used Topaz Carbuncle. Normally that wouldn't really be an issue in such an easy dungeon, if it weren't for the fact that they were ONLY casting Ruin and rarely ever used their DoTs.

The WHM and I kept trying to give them advice, but they didn't respond period. Led the both of us to believe they were actual bots. Now that I think about it, we really really should have tried kicking one of them to see how long the vote kick would take.

Great. So now actually playing the class the way it's supposed to be played (although not exactly efficiently, an old rotation though) is now grounds for being accused to be a bot.

Well i was being lazy, but it works for normal mobs. Still... its idiotic... Worse is that this was today...

Dang. D: I got called a bot once, but they all stopped when I responded in party chat.

It was back before HW came out and I was grinding loot from WoD so my classes would all be geared. I was on my DRG, I just needed DRG pants, I hadn't said a word the whole run. And on the Cloud one of the DPS asked if I was a bot, and I said something really snippy like, "I'm the best designed bot 'cause I can dodge better than you can".

They thought I was being funny, though. So nothing bad happened. ^.^"

lol don't you mean WoD?

It's sad tho when folks get accused of botting when they're just doing their job. Neverreap I understand as BLM using the full level 60 rotation isn't the greatest idea (I think it can be done, but you'd have to be right on top of things).

It's sad tho when folks get accused of botting when they're just doing their job. Neverreap I understand as BLM using the full level 60 rotation isn't the greatest idea (I think it can be done, but you'd have to be right on top of things).

Roulette 60, Got Neverreap, i went through it as i ussualy do as BLM, i go with the old Rotation for BLM (Level 50) for the normal mobs, and i was dealing with something in LS at the moment, so it was more free.

So... last boss, the other BLm on the team says she has been focusing me the whole dungeon and said i only used Fire I, Thunder and Blizzard III, saying i was using a bot and to turn it off...

Okay where to start.... Black Mage has instant casts when the abilities proc, so you wouldn't see me casting other than these, other than when i use Blizzard III its to regen MP, then i change to Astral Fire with Fire III for less mana cost and 3 stacks of Astral Fire.

So she said she recorded it in a stream like trying to threaten me. So i said " Send it to SE" and she kept on accusing me of using a bot...When she fell twice off the ledge

This will show how it went... i took the screenies after the "Incident"

Weird that they kept on accusing you of botting heh. That said, you really should be using more than those skills in Neverreap. I assume on trash pulls you at least did Fire II, and maybe some flares? Should be using Enochian for the boost too, and you definitely want to be using Fire IV's on the main boss fights. Even if you can't do it perfectly, you're going to get way higher DPS than doing the 50 rotation

To be fair, the 50 rotation of a BLM is the most common use for a battle-class bot.
