    Au'ra are like the other pc races likely Placental mammals, thus have the features of such and don't lay eggs.

    On the otherhand I will totally argue Dragons in this game are Monotremes and not reptiles.
    You really expect me to believe Nidhogg is some form of giant platypus?

    IIRC KF once mentioned that the player races are close enough to interbreed with each other, but it doesn't happen very often because of cultural divides?

    So Aura are probably mammal.. or mammal proxies..

    More importantly, where are the asses?

    Breasts are nothing more than fake asses.

    What we need is a thigh/butt slider.

    Well if they have hair (they do, on their heads) and mammary glands, then they are technically mammals :P Armadillos are mammals, but look scaly.
    Edit: Oh wow, someone else mentioned armadillos too! I didn't read first ;-;

    Let's hope we don't have another case of these.

    Well, they certainly have something that looks like hair. It doesn't necessarily follow that it is hair. Many birds have down that looks more like hair than feathers (especially when they're young, and it's not hidden under other feathers yet). But despite its looks, down is considered a type of feather rather than a type of hair.

    (I don't know whether or not there are any currently living reptiles that have down, but apparently dinosaurs did, so I could accept the idea of dragons having it.)
