I just went to gametrailers... it looks like garbage imho. I don't understand how everyone is saying, if an MMO patch is a bust they're going to a single player action adventure game.

In some other post, I even read someone say this game was going to hurt the XIV player base. LOL much?

EDIT: Nevermind, just checked the other thread. Well, nothing wrong with them enjoying something else if they're not happy. As for the player base comment, that is a bit drastic.

all over the damn place, seriously go read through several thread of people mentioning it, telling everyone how its the end of ff14

then again they say that about every game being released regardless of what kind

It's another random crappy console game. It's the successor to Demon's Souls which was just another random crappy console game, but people latched on because it didn't hold your hand and was (HAHA) "really difficult"... which from my laughing, if you can't tell, it wasn't that difficult at all. These people just forget when games didn't have a "PRESS BUTTON FOR AWESOMENESS AND INSTANT WIN!" type gameplay and all that. It's cool that it is making people remember when games were tough and rewarding, but the game (Demon's Souls) wasn't either. Just another random crappy console game. And I'm assuming the same with Dark Souls. And from the reviews I've read - "IT'S SO HARD ITS SO FUN!" I'm assuming the same thing.

Now... All the new Paradox games coming out now, the patch for Sengoku coming out the same time as this patch, rFactor 2 supposedly coming out soon, new Might and Magic soon, Football Manager, etc. etc. Those are gonna be the ones to draw me away from this game for a bit. But I'll still grab this patch right away and try and play all night haha.
