30 Minute Lockout for Leaving Roulette's isn't Working as Intended.

While it’s an occasional problem on Aether (I personally heal sprouts through as many of their firsts as possible and help teach them mechanics, so that they don’t have to risk DF rage and vote abandons), I never saw anything this bad until I went to Chaos datacenter. I’ve stopped queuing there unless I can bring my own healer and/or tank so that if the DF one bolts we can force a wait to replenish ranks.

I don't usually queue in progress though, I guess that makes a difference, but even when I do 9 times out of 10 I just arrive in complete parties. I think you must just be very unlucky, I very rarely see an instaquitting tank or healer (or ragequitting, or even rage in general). The occasional d/c, sure, but even those are usually part-way into the dungeon.

Strange how experiences can be so opposite.

I think the penalty is fine as it is. If people have a certain instance they hate and won't even attempt and bail instantly, then they've already gotten their punishment in the 30 minute ban. If SE cave and listen to people who want these ridiculous punishments then all that will happen is no one will ever leave an instance. They'll just derp around and/or AFK until you kick them to avoid punishment.

My data center is kinda douchebag lately. I keep having healer rage quit at Great Gubal Library. If you don't want enter leveling dungeon then what's the reason you did roulette leveling?

I entered one dungeon one time and after the first pull one of the dps didn't want to do the run and didn't want to leave either it was pretty easy dungeon as we were all over leveled for it the party eventually kicked them but my vote to not not do anything and continue on cause could do the dungeon without them and if they wanted to leave let them eat their penalty. That just my view on that.

30 min is such a low punishment lol. nowadays, if i got aethero whatever and theres no eso bonus i just quit and play a game of league. after that its usually just 2/3 min wait until the penalty is over

No offence intended, but maybe you have a lot more free time than others. If you only have a couple hours here and there to play, 30 minutes is a sizeable chunk to be lost.

You can't kick someone or vote abandon a dungeon for 5 minutes, right? And even if you kick one guy, the first person that leaves voluntarily eats the penalty. I had a trial roulette the other day in Titan HM with no first time bonus appearing. One healer was full afk and died each time the ground broke, and the other healer would just walk off the side of the arena randomly in mid-fight (not even punched off). We wiped 3 times, couldn't kick either healer, and still couldn't vote abandon. It was just 6 people unable to do a fight, waiting for one person to be brave enough to eat the 30 minute penalty so the other 5 could leave without getting a lock-out.

People will always find a way to ruin the game for you. Harsher punishments from devs just means that both jerk players AND the devs are acting against you.

I literally see it happen all the time, commonly in trials too...people leave on steps of faith and eat the 30 minutes for a 12 minute trial often too.

I don't. It rarely happens and I play a ton of roulettes on both my main and alts. The 30 minute penalty is fine. They don't need to adjust anything.

On Phoenix I have rarely ever seen instant leavers in my 2 years of playing. Only time I really EVER see it is from tanks in AV
