Anima weapon's quest

Hi everyone,
Since the Questline patch 3.2, the anima weapon got harder than before, we have 3 ways to get the items from the anima quest, 680 Eso/Poetic, Beast tribes, Alexander Gordian Normal mode.
Now that we have Midas, Gordian is a sad forgotten stuff that we can't find a party to farm some tokens, so... we should get another way to get the tokens, other than doing the roulette and the rest of the day doing beast tribes to get one to two tokens a week per tribe, so... what do you guys think? we should get a nerf on the amount of itens we need to deliver of we should get another way to get it? maybe doing something like gordian to midas.

They will likely be nerfing it within the next patch.

80 unidentifiable items are way too much, it needs to come down.

That said... Currently sitting at 79 and will hit 80 today. Would like to see something resembling a nerf of that step for others in my FC. There are certain grinds in the game that are absurdly high at the moment and really need to come down some. Namely the 80 unidentifiable items and the grind to get the ilvl 170 crafter / gatherer gear mats. Not saying to get rid of the entire grind, but they're too high right now.

There's actually two additional ways to get tokens - treasure maps (average seems to be one every 10 or 15 maps) and Allied Seals from Hunts.

Alright... i didn't count the allied seals and hunts... but those are the less reliable way since when I was trying to do some hunts they were killed so fast that I gave up on farming them. depending on the server it's too difficult to get the full bonus from a Hunt, and if it takes around 10 maps to get a token we still have almost 2 weeks to get one, if you are not lucky just like me I opened around 30 maps and I got 2 only.

Personally, I thought 75 Alexandrite/75 Materia for the 2.0-era relic was worse than this. Took awhile to nerf that.

I partialy agree with you, since materia IV was really hard to get, but we could get alexandrite from any fate and even with RNGsus being bad with all the FFXIV players, I think the gate to get one item is way to big since the best eso DG give us 80 eso (not counting the roulette bonus), and it takes 20 to 30 min to clear it, so 680/80 = 8,5 dgs so its 170 min that is almost 3 hours farming dungeons, 4 days farming beast tribes and 10 S-rank Hunts or 25 A-rank Hunts and the RNG from Maps that we just don't have a way to predict when we will get a token.

Alexendrites, not so much since you had the option to expedite it, and you'd get 1 daily from a quest. The materia on the other hand though...

Doubtful the number of items needed will go down, but rather the cost of said items.

I don't see what the problem is here. This is meant to be a grind and not something most people can finish in a week. Just do your dailies every day, BST, Roulettes, some hunts here and there and you will get all 80 items without much effort at all. Also, I still see people running Gordias all the time, I say this because 1 out of every 6-7 DR: Mentor runs pops me into Alex 1-4 as well as seeing on Excalibur PF groups forming to farm one of them 10 times for the precision items.
