    A5S Limit Break

Hey everyone... our group is currently on add phase and was just wondering how some of you have been handling LB. Caster or BRD more optimal? Timing of cast before/after petrifaction? Moving SW Goblin to make sure it gets hit by LB?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Caster LB 3 both gobbies and first set piggies. We sometimes have issues hitting LB3 and will need look into that sooner or later (and might switch to BRD LB2) but atm that is how our kills were.

Our SMN pre positions and casts it when piggies just few steps from LB range so it is basically during the petrifaction.

Will both gobbies be in range of LB3 at their spawn points? Or will the SW gob need to be moved?

None needs be moved caster LB 3 scratches the hitboxes of both gobbies and basically reaches to the middle activator thingy (for reaching pigs).

To build LB better make sure to stun snakes during the poison cast and not to stunlock.

If you're going for a Brd/Mch LB, make sure you your DPS finishes off the Goblins. They will spam bombs which will 2-3 shot players.

I see a lot of groups waiting for Oogle to cast before LB3, but what should stop me from facing due North and starting LB3 as soon as adds are heading toward position? It would seem to limit the number of bombs being thrown. Any reason I don't see this as much in clear vids?

I ask this because we always seem to be racking up a few death between Oogle and LB3 landing. Right now, that's our roadblock.

We always wait til after oogle is cast. Either ranged or caster lb3 works, just need slightly dif positioning if ranged (they have to stand at the far edge to hit all adds vs caster who can stand wherever and cast). The prob I think with just facing north is doesn't the LB turn you around? Idk if it works the same as casting a spell where you have to face the target. But it should be fine to pop it after oogle either way.

Nothing, but it's really hard to make yourself target the LB so that you are facing a decent enough direction that you don't accidentally get Oogled

I'm responsible for doing this in my group. At the start of all-the-adds phase, I go and stand in the middle of the south wall (under the blue syringe) facing due north (we put the boss just south of the electrical thingy). I LB as soon as lv.3 is available or if already up, when the pigs are on their way over, taking care to position it so that it touches both gawkers. I don't have to pay any attention to Oogle from that position.

We're running double mnk due to unspecified reasons, so we just have our smn lb the SE gobbie+pigs and send two dps to kill the other. Works out just fine, but smn times it so he gets petrified as the cast hits
