The one that doesn't use proper CDs.
The one that doesn't use proper CDs.
I'm gona say about the same for all 3 (Friend has all 3 at 60, ilv205 min & has been my Tank as each a few times for roulletes to my WHM) WAR has slightly bigger HP dips (1-3% depending) DRK makes u feal like u'r watching a war of atrision if all u do is cast regens for a bit (so the yo-yo we all know) & PLD seems less in DMG taken but mostly due to the RNG of their only defining trait a Shield.
As for crap Tanks (IE no Def CD's & barrly avoiding most/some AoE's) thats situational baced on Gear, ilv of said gear, AoE strength & numbers, pull size, etc. I do know they all start out "Bad" & can dip into "Nightmare" & a funny 1 that remonds me of a FPS on a diff console "Unfrigginbelieveable" (which to me is "Nightmare" level hard to heal mixed with an Arrgo-tastrify & usually ending in 1 fast, horrible, messy wipe... leaving u fealing violated after.... these normal result in rage-heal-quit, pull-less-tank or full-on-tank-boot)
Wars keep scaring me when they go into deliverence when they have 8+ adds on them ;-; " why are you suddenly taking so much more damage!? Oh.... Deliverance...."
If they are going into Deliverance they should always be popping a cooldown when they do it to make up for the difference. Usually when tanking a lot of mobs you probably dont want to be in deliverance for too long for enmity and healer reasons if it is a long pull.
The amount of incoming damage on a warrior in Deliverance is the same as in Defiance, though. Incoming healing, on the other hand :P
Tanks that doesnt use CDs at all are the worst or use them at the wrong times.. ><
Example: I did 3 antitower and I had a WAR who was actually taking less damage than my prior run with PLD and that PLD was better geared... So I dont really care which tank I get

I'm still leveling my AST, but while the player matters the most, I find I get to spend the least amount of time in cleric stance when running with DRK tanks.
That is easily made up from HP-gain from Bloodbath+Berzerk, then going to Decimate and Overpower town. So much HP can be gained from hitting packs of AoE mobs in Deliverance. But of course you got the PuG e-peen warriors that just care about numbers and not realizing those two cooldowns are so in-sync with each other to keep their HP going up.
