    the brittish didn't exactly lose in america, the confederates lost all the brittish did was back the losing side. but it wasn't really a brittish war to lose. it was america v america. with the brittish having an intrest on the outcome

    I really think you are confusing the American Civil War with the American Revolution. The American Revolution was a revolution AGAINST the King of England. The Confederacy did not exist until the Civil War when the south attempted to leave the Union.

    >.>;;;;; uhhhhhh the American Revolution started because AMerican's rejected colonial rule of the British and made offense to the the king.... and the king wanted to get the revolutionarys under control.... so he sent his british navy and army to fight along side loyalist that thought of themselves as british not americans so in all meaning it is americans vs british.

    also what he said I think you have the A. Civil War and A. Revolutionary War mixed up.
