A6 today on my WHM.

I notice one of the tanks isn't with us at the first boss. The name shaded out is one I remember with a slight sense of dread. He was BLM in an A8 run I had a couple of weeks back. If I remember that, you know he played bad, as in stood in every aoe till death, probably 6 rez in one run.

So he shows up and we derp our way through the 1st boss, barely, think a few were dead. Second boss, he hasn't moved from firsts platform. As I ask if he intends to sit out the match, the other tank hasn't noticed we have an afker and pulls. We wipe. Other tank asks if he want to MT, to which he responds "We split at 3". I prayed he meant provoke.

As it turns out, no, he let the other tank get to 5 stacks and die, then proceeded to take the soak by himself and die to the one shot. He blamed it on me, since I emote slapped him for letting the other tank die, claiming I let him get to 2200, and that was why he died, when he was at full when it hit. He then went on to blame the other tank by saying "Harrowed Ground!" "Sentinal/Bulwark!" As if he thought those lasted the duration of the fight and allowed you to take all stacks... (other tank had used them btw.)

Next boss he manages to take every debuff stack possible and dies multiple times, even hopping in the 4 ball aoe when there was already 4 in there...

Last boss, lets other tank get too many stacks yet again and stays with the boss for all ultra flashes. As the end draws near and we are sure we don't need him for the other tank dying (the only way he seemed to pick up hate) we left him dead.

I know you may think, he has to be a troll, but I'm not so sure. Also it turns out he is from my server.

its not bad or anything but why does ACN decides to heal instead of dpsing for the sake of "helping" the healer (The tank was almost full health the whole time)... They just end up overhealing for nothing and then they get mad at the tank for grabbing hate.. Please your job as an ACN before 30 is not to heal but dps, please leave my job of healing alone. TY!

I recall a conversation somewhere, though I can't say I have checked the math out, that it's actually a DPS gain to have a healer Cleric+DPS while an ACN heals between DoT casts. Might have been thinking along those lines.

Indeed. Quite a few people I know work in that department. I sometimes get frustrated when I have to instruct newbies at our dojo, but after my teacher friends/relatives tell me about their daily lives, I'm kinda relieved that all I have to put up with are martial arts xD

So I queued for Ex roulette yesterday and got Amdapor HM. Didn't think anything of it. Got in, everyone said their hi's. Had AST, SMN, MNK and myself as PLD. Immediately, the someone asks for a big pull (don't remember who it was). Everyone else said they were good for it and I said sure. We go, and I pull as much as I can pending wherever we were at. Mobs are melting like butter, my HP is kept very stable and for the most part, I kept aggro (every once in a while I lost 1 or 2 for a sec, but they were usually just about dead if i did anyways). I won't go through every detail, but we got through the entire dungeon FAST. Probably my fastest run there ever. It felt like it only took a little over 10 min for the entire dungeon, but I forgot to look at the time. We all complimented each other afterwards, everyone was on point the entire dungeon, except for the last boss. He was doing his ground attack that hits the party pending proximity, but he was an inch from death, so we all tried to push it, he died about 2 seconds after it went off, but our SMN fell to it. It took out over 10k of my hp as well though, so I was surprised by that dmg.

Later, find out from some friends that they upped the dmg of enemies in Ex roulette dungeons xD I didn't even notice a difference except for that last hit from the boss, but usually run away from those and just thought that was how much dmg it usually did if you stayed right on top of him xD

If any of those who were in that run see this though, you were awesome. So awesome I couldn't even tell the dmg was increased lol.

Wow talk about ungrateful~

Mine is more a tale from the PF, and to be fair they did deserve to be a lil angry as the party leader should have put that I was new in PF... anyway. Rav ex. I still hadn't done it, long story short I had a 2nd baby so my play times now are just raid times basically so not had the time to do it. We had 2 people missing from the static last night so we decided to do Rav ex instead of our usual to get me the clear. Our raid leader puts us on PF, I didn't check what he put as the criteria. Turns out he put us as farm, once the party is full and we enter, other healer starts raging "I thought this was a farm!!? Who is new!!!" etc etc. Fight starts, he continues to rage. I tell him I didn't know that our leader had put us up as a farm party, but it was a premade so can he stop bitching that I am a selfish idiot joining a farm group when I didn't have clear. He didn't believe me and continued to bitch even when our static backed me up. He then dies on Tapasya and blames me for not healing him and proceeds to call me a crap healer. (Oh sure honey, my healing is to blame, not your inability to dodge.) He rage quits. We then replace and kill first try. /facepalm

I just got kicked from Toto-Rak for being a "moron AST that doesn't draw cards" despite me trying to explain that I do not have access to those skills at low level.

Gotta love the ability "scaling" in this game. <_<

Queued for 60 roulette with my WHM this morning. On the first big pull after the first boss, I got stunned when the second wave came in, my WHM got hate and died, and I secured hate expecting the SMN to raise him. They didn't, just kept dpsing while my health went down, down, down. I died, said in chat "I guess he expected you to return," my WHM said yeah, and we both did. Dps finished off that group by themselves. I went and got a coffee, while my WHM said in FC chat, if he'd raised me you wouldn't have died. I replied, I know, and we moved on. I noted in FC chat that the guy is a mentor and my WHM reminded me that doesn't mean anything.

So, just had an Amdapor Keep (Normal) run with an ARCANIST who entered the dungeon with a topaz carbie. After we emoted at the carbie in negativity he removed it... without replacing it with emerald. No pet at all. Later I checked his gear and he had no accessories at all. For a while I was even wondering if he was a RMT bot.
