While it's hard to believe who's telling the actual truth and what not, I am inclined to believe that the vote dismiss wasn't without a good reason and I thank you for clearing things up a bit
It sounds like he wasn't really trying to communicate anyways and rolling need on an item after a fight you have not contributed to is just pure lameness and it's very rude

If you have completed Vault as a AST, I truly do not think so that you might be a "Shitty Healer".
The Dungeon was / or is still Hell when being an Astrologian and is a completely joke as a Tank when the Tank goes into Tank Stance and atleast pops a CD on some Pulls or Bosses...

Thank you. With a good group, I actually enjoy healing as an AST in the vault. My AST is also my main.

It's probably those mount farmers. I've met my fair share of players like that farming for that damn bloody lanner and there are some who outright ignore mechanics, esp in Swift Liberation phase, and/or prey phase.

Mount doesn't drop in HM, extreme doesn't come up in trial roulette, pretty sure the tank was just an idiot.

2 runs of Aurum Vale.
1st run - Healer leaves right as Queue starts, so I'm left with a tank (roommate) and the other DPS standing at the entrance with no healer. "Alright, can't be that bad... let's just wait for..." *Machinist leaves* "Ok... soooo... let's wait for another DPS and a healer...". Not even a Minute in another DPS joins us, we explain the situation, so the person is nice enough to wake his friend up (a healer) to come and join us x) We didn't even mind the healer taking 2 minutes to grab a cup of coffee after the 1st boss. Run went pretty smoothly.
2nd run - healer leaves after the 1st boss. After a long-ass wait we we get a pretty damn good AST.

Alright, 2 runs completed, I'm still kinda sick of this dungueon, gonna go have some fun at Gold Saucer.

My roommate decided to do a 3rd run. 5 minutes in I hear him yell "WTF is up with this place and healers?! Ours just left before the 1st Boss!"

My opinion - the place is cursed with bad juju

I find it kind of funny that people got out of their way and spend so much energy on making others look bad. Imagine how bad their lives must be that they actually get pleasure from making others feel bad/worse x)

Ahaha, yes I think I know the party member you are talking about. He is very... passionate. He's on my server and in my PvP LS and he tends to go 450% with whatever he has set his mind on. His determination is admirable, but it also gets him into a fair bit of trouble. ^.^"

I actually didn't read any of the replies on the post after the first 10 or so due to how bad it got, but reading those would not have changed my experience, so I figured it was best to skip them and avoid getting upset. I do agree this group is rather... rough around the edges. Gilgamesh has a bad reputation as a server, but I much prefer our FB group to this one. I don't plan on staying in it longer than I need to.

I don't expect everyone to blindly accept my side as the truth, I can only report on why I did what I did and said what I said. His behavior with the included silence really came off as leech/bot-like to me. I don't like vote dismissing, so I try to make sure I have at least 3 things about a person that seem really off before I launch one. At the time, to me, I felt like the action I took was the best one.

The party was rather chatty at the start of the run, and I'm pretty sure they covered items they wanted, I was only there for the EXP and nostalgia, so I wasn't paying much attention to the chat myself, so I can understand if he missed that part too, but it was brought up again as soon as the item dropped. I agree communication would have very quickly ended the whole situation. If he had said "brb emergency" during the fight to justify not accepting raise or "sry didn't mean to roll" when he won the loot, or even contributing to the fight at all, the situation would have ended then and there.

I hope it ends soon too and thank you for your sympathy. c: I was surprised to hear the incident spun so backwards and even more confused when I found the person dismissed wasn't even on my server. I figured it came from the forums since I am active here, but I didn't see a post about it, so after some asking I found the Facebook post. There's only one Selli Noblesse, so I guess it was very easy for members in there on Gilgamesh to find me in game (one did actually message my boyfriend who also has the last name Noblesse, he was very confused). I think the caster mentioned earlier (the one who got very upset) has definitely been getting more flack than I have, as he got blamed for my vote kick initially, I mostly got scolded for my blunt comment.

I think it is human nature to try to make ourselves look good in any situation, especially when we feel wronged. From the small bit of context posted, the one I dismissed definitely looked like he was being wronged and bullied. I know now I could have worded what I said a little better, though I did it out of haste not out of spite. It was easy to exclude previous information from the fight beforehand to allow for easier sympathy and to make others look bad, which is exactly what was accomplished.

I'm seeing a lot of tanks lately who just run ahead when the last enemy of the mob is around 10%.

Why? Does it actually makes the dungeon go faster? If it does, I bet its just a couple of minutes. So, why?

I mean I understand if its 24-man raid like Void Ark (I ALWAYS got an MT who runs ahead of the group and decides to pull early. It's considered the norm now.)

But a dungeon, especially with a healer or a DPS who's new? I don't know... Just feel like some people likes to do that because they think it's "pro MLG" stuff.

I have had the worst week for A8N. I cleared once early on with 3 other people from my FC but lost the roll on everything so I've been re-queuing daily (on either my PLD or DRG plus WHM spouse) and it's been an utter crap storm. Either the group does mechanics but can't muster the necessary DPS so we wipe on autoclean or the group has the DPS but ignores the mechanics. No tank swapping, people not switching to kill the steam adds, people not stacking for Brawler, people not stacking during Brute Justice. Additionally over half the tanks are still wearing STR accessories.

Last night it was all of those at once. First two steam adds exploded and we wipe. One of the DPS starts to bitch at the healers and I point out that the adds weren't handled. I put down marks and ask other DPS to call their targets. Then tanks don't switch for UD and one of them dies and gets rezzed. During robot phase not everyone is stacking when needed but we make it to Brute. Then the other healer drops a Med2 right as he forms and gets eaten. He gets a rez. We get through one cycle with only half of us stacking for shared hit. Then the MT goes down on the tankbuster because the other tank isn't sharing it. Then half of us stack for the shared hit again, and I and spouse die. Healer 2 rezzes spouse as two other DPS go down. Healer LB3 goes off, everyone gets up. On the next shared hit half of us stack and we go right back down. Wipe. Vote abandon passes.

We're super casual but I guess we need to find a static or something? I don't want to raid, I just want my weekly drop.

Good story: on my way from 1 to 55, i only had 6 groups that wiped continuously and kicked or abandoned after wiping once on the first boss of Qarn NM, when me and the healer were new and no one explained a thing.
The rest were all pretty sooth clears, maybe a few wipes, but we finished eventually.

Human nature indeed. Most people don't want to aknowledge that they're wrong. Not that I'm any different, but I would definitely not waste my time making a FB post or whining about it on the Forums. I'd make myself some tea, grab a cookie, calm the fudge down and join another queue hoping not to get agitated x)
