Can you not mouse over the role icons to see the name? I could have sworn that was possible.

Its "random" duty finder. If you don't like it: Make your own party.
I hate duty finder, and curse whoever made it because it makes the game more antisocial because there are almost no consequences to your actions.
Reap what you sow; many asked for it; and you got what you wanted.
If you don't like the group? Leave and take the penalty.
This would be abused so much: I myself would just be like:
Group:
Paladin
Gunner
Gunner
Bad group, *leaves que*, *reques*

Oh. Whats the point to this then? Just join, see a jerk? Leave. No thread or feature needed.
As for being able to see whose partied with who? No, privacy issues.
I always get confused, because Duty Finder IS a party finder.
It can be implemented. But I think SE didn't think it was necessary at that time when they created this game. There must be a reason for that, because even after 5 - 6 yrs, we still don't have that system. They added new party finding/team making mechanic in patch 3.2 and we still don't have anything that show us players name, it's completely random. I'm sure they had a chance to talk about it. However.. I believe it's something about the privacy.

I was about to ask "isn't this what blacklisting is for?" but then after looking it up, it seems that blacklisting will only affect the party finder if the recruiter is the one blacklisted (greys out party), not if someone in the party is on your blacklist (maybe. I dunno).

Plus even if you have a member of a party blacklisted, once you enter the content the blacklist is null and void and you can see them start yammering on... I learned that the hard way.I was about to ask "isn't this what blacklisting is for?" but then after looking it up, it seems that blacklisting will only affect the party finder if the recruiter is the one blacklisted (greys out party), not if someone in the party is on your blacklist (maybe. But as soon as you join the party you see the players names anyway? It's not like their names remain private. This just saves players joining a party and then leaving it.It can be implemented.
