So I was doing my Ex roulette and got into the Anti-tower.
The Tank went afk for a good while after the first boss so they got voted kicked out for us to never get anyone else.

The party was about to disband but I said "hey wait, gimme 2 mins"
I zoned out, switched from NIN to WAR and re-ran the roulette with "In Progress" checked in. Got instant queue and clicked on confirm, only to realize that I didn't preciselly select the Antitower and what I got was a fresh party... wishing the DPS fell asleep I was cursining myself for the mistake...

Sadly the queue went through and I zoned into Lost City (hard) as a Tank on the fresh party while hating myself... Im just glad I asked them to only wait 2 mins...

Loool, even if you had chosen Antitower it's still no guarantee you'll get that group again, no? Prolly figured you got snatched up by another group. ;P

In a Qarn normal mode today, had a scholar who wouldn't stand on platforms when they had doom on the first boss. Tried again and the tank died. The scholar didn't raise him. Turns out they didn't even have raise on their bar. That is pretty important to have.

Ignoring marked targets. Because apparently people put numbers over a target's head for no reason

They're trying to teach you how to count. 2 comes before 1 but 3 is always second, right? :P

Do a5s in party finder to get some experience. Be a sch, partnered with a whm. As SCH you're expected to pretty much just dps with minimal burst mitigation or healing during Faust 3.20 . WHM uses non traited virus on the first panzercheck instead of the double one coming up... all while spamming physick because "it has a higher crit rate than cure."

I'd say depends on dungeon. If it's under, say, level 35 or so, I'll pay attention to your marks.

If it's later than that, especially past level 50, most classes have their aoes that are good on more than 1 monster. So I'll be spreading dots, aoeing, etc. Not going to focus just one monster when I can do more damage to them all and make then die fast.

Yeah... and tbh, I'm so used to people ignoring marks in low dungeons that I haven't been using them at all for the past year or so (unless there are newbies and there are mobs that should die first). I'll just overpower/flash a couple of times, and then focus on whichever mob is dying the fastest (i.e. the one the dps are hitting).
The very few times I've used markings in higher dungeons is if there's a mob that really should die first for some reason. Especially if people in DF have a habit of ignoring or not realizing that (or if there have been wipes because people aren't paying attention over-all). For example, in Qarn normal, I sometimes mark that first stone face thingy, because it annoys me when it runs off ^^; And because Final Sting does less damage the closer the bee is to full hp, so even if it does get Final Sting off while we're smacking the stone, it's not going to take even half my hp ^^;

That Virus thing is something that tends to bug me ^^; If there's a SMN or SCH in the party, and they seem willing to actually use their Virus, it's just frustrating when the BLM or WHM throws their non-traited Virus in as soon as they can. Especially if the target is not a "physical damage output only" enemy.
And as for the Physick... If it hadn't been for the CureII procs, it would just be a flavour thing and nothing else. But... Gah.

Just exited my fifth or so DF round of The Feast and had a friendly message waiting for me at the end. Someone commented that I shouldn't be healing. When I asked what they meant, they said not to come back into PvP as a healer.

Sorry, but when you allow your healers to get stunned and swarmed in front of the spawn point, you're going to die. No ifs, ands or buts.

By far the rudest person I've met in this game so far...and the best part is, their life or death is in my hands. I love being a healer.

Was in lost city of amdapor (hard)as a drk with a whm, blm, and smn
The dps was pretty low and I didn't really mind it until we got second boss and died to the orb. I then noticed that neither of the dps were using any dots, they blamed it on lag. We wiped again to the orb and they left, got a new (and good) blm and bard immediately after.

I'm never able to give commendations as DPS in the DF, being so busy with dps'ing i only sometimes check my HP. Than again, I don't always see the need to commend a healer for keeping us alive, or a tank for keeping aggro all the time, because it also kind of is the task you signed up for with that class and in the DF :/ Don't really know how to judge such things

Yesterday, Trial Roulette, Steps of Faith:

Tank immediately pops a "Get ready to be carried" macro and pulls. Obvious mech don't get explained to the multiple new people in party. We fail.

I explain the mechs and ask for one tank to help me on canons/snares. I also ask for the adds to be pulled to the front of Vishap. The tank who is "Carrying" us blames the new tank for not bringing the adds up, when I ask why he didn't just do it, he claims he was tanking Vishap...

Finally get our derpy tank to stop derping and help me on canons, we clear easily next try.

Oh and our savior tank who was carrying us didn't even know there was a shortcut in there...
