    I feel like SCH in general really needs some love in the sustainability department. Its healing kit is very finite and once its spent its left without any tool to mitigate even moderate damage. Especially given how easy is it for a dedicated tank/dps to "cast-lock" a healer.

    Maybe its me but other healing jobs dont seem to have nearly so much of an issue /shrug. Time to dust off my AST I guess.

    they killed frontlines for this snooze fest seriously?? ._. honestly seems they have no idea what they are doing for pvp in ff14 lmao just give us groupings in frontlines like you have done for the feast only decent thing in this pvp mode no grand companies

    Love it. 125 Team games played here - got mid-silver last night in 4v4 and was having a blast all day.

    The point gain is severely lowered right now for us who played all day. We're just too far ahead of the curve, so we gain 10 and lose 40 vs 25/25 of an equal match. Once the season has been out for a few weeks I see this becoming less of an issue.

    I hate solo queue. RNG healer is the least fun RNG in this game. Let us Duo queue at least, or open up rewards to 4v4 light party.

    Wish we had leaderboards available in pre-season so that we could review previous match history.

    If a summoner is getting on Ruin 3's then they are not being focused...That's a mistake on your part. Summoners are very strong, yes, but outside of their initial burst they cannot do much if they are under pressure.

    I don't agree with this. PVP rank really means nothing other than time spent playing in a specific GC. If the tiered systems worked in matchmaking, that would be enough. No need to make even queuing up exclusive. The PVP community is small as it is and I'd like to see it grow, not shrink!

    It's called Blind, which is an instant cast spammable ability. You know what happens if a MNK misses Shakra, Tornado Kick, Axe Kick? It does 0 damage, gives you no bonus effects, and still goes on CD. If any of this happens while this theoretical monk is destroying this theoretical summoner then guess what, the MNK loses the burst game. SMN wins. MNK is down all of their big cooldowns, and will probably die if 1 on 1 or lost the burst opportunity on SMN as they are now being healed.

I've got a solution, though; Change the rating reward/reduction to be based on players rankings. So rather than a flat +25/-25 (though there is some variation), we have a system where you lose less if you're in a party of low ranks, and you win more if you beat a party of higher ranks. Won a match against a party that had someone with Silver rank? That should be worth more rating than beating a party of no ranks. Perhaps this is the case already, but the variation I'm seeing in my rating reward/reduction is pathetic and seems more tied to my "individual" performance... If it is already the case though, it definitely needs some refinement... I'm the only Bronze in my party, and I get -26 when up against a party with two Bronzes? F*ck that...

    So yeah... Got a "bad" party (or rather, party of newbs)? A loss shouldn't cost you as much. Push for a win despite the potential disadvantage? That should reward you more. Then, rather than coin flipping my way through solo queues, I can have the odd bad party and not have it cross off an entire win... The ranking up system already has you needing to do 3/5 or better for the promotional qualifier, and I have no problems with that... What sense is there in having the entire rating up system be that punishing? None, not for solo queues, at least...

    If a SMN is casting ruin 2 he also isn't bursting. Also, it only takes an AA to interrupt a hard cast (ruin 3). Monks also have very potent self healing, and their sustained damage is higher. They will beat a SMN of equal skill level just about every time. One ilm punch literally removes everything that makes them a class.
