I was once kicked out of an LS for talking about insects. Apparently the leader really is a Tumblr regular and takes offense to insects and anyone who discusses them, so nothing really surprises me anymore lol.

It was used during WWII when thousands of innocent Japanese Americans were thrown into shanty towns in the middle of nowhere by the US government because of racial prejudice. My family was one of those innocent families and I can say first hand that my grandpa would jump across a table and smack ya if you said it! Please don't equate it to some sensitive tumblr fad.
