sorry like said I want people see important balance for tank dps and healer how the summoner need fite in this balance and how view of summoner being to powerful doesn't fit. you mmo is about balance the jobs out since tank,dps and healer have fite in balance we can't have all are favorite Jobs the way we want them to be i just want people realize it important to understand that this i am sorry i have hard time when come sentence structure

Op I fail to see how putting more focus on the pet would make SMN unbalanced. You would take some of the damage away from the player and give it to their pet. The overall amount of damage is unchanged so there is no balance issue... IMO most of the Summoner job skills should actually be commands similar to Enkindle so that the player's rotation is executed through the pet. THAT is a pet class.
So Confused. What is topic again? Is this about SMN being more pet focused or SMN being more utility/support or that the SMN job is not what OP wanted to play? I do not get it (not knocking the sentence structure of phrasing, just the ideas behind it).
You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that?

well the thing is 3 things need to be to make a pet job more about the pet
1. the pet can not be big or else it will obstruct the view of the other players.
2. depending on the strength of the pet (lets say the pet did 80% of smn damage) can not have more survivability then other dps the reason this is is mostly because it would allow smn to bypass many mechanics without losing much dps at all, which is part of the problem with ground attacks as its next to impossible to have a pet dodge a mechanic in the same amount of time as other dps. on the other side of the fence if hes just as squishy and not able to react to movement as well as other dps the summon dies and summoners dps becomes heavily gimped.
3. adding on to the pets survivability youd also have to make it possible for the pet become directly affected by the casters debuffs or directly affected by mechanics as well (imagine a3s if the summoner could just keep the dps down and your summon wasnt affected it would be able to cheese some mechanics pretty easy)
so while yes it isnt impossible to implement i believe it would be much more difficult to balance a pet job in which focuses to much on the pet as such i believe its fine the way its currently balanced, maybe just make the egis better looking is all id say they need to do.

As a SMN main, I feel like it would be okay for the summons to be hurt, killed by Aoe. It should have been a pet class and the Summoner should have been concerned with the pet/keeping it alive, supporting the pet not the other way around. We have skills that help the pet stay alive and could use more. But that kind of change won't happen unfortunately. I believe the most SMN can get right now is glamours. Shame but the job is all sorts of messed up, despite being fun to play.

my favorite story happen to be summoner Cer i love job, the story awesome so is the pets. i hope see a Shiva ega, an Leviathan ega an Ramuh ega, a Bismarck ega, Ravana ega.
on side note i one players that made most thread the pet jobs in genaral too. I pet job mantic for pet jobs

i understand im just looking at it from a balance and design perspective which could be very problematic, i myself would love to see puppetmaster in the game one day as a tank job, but for now with the way the game currently plays, pet jobs with heavy focus on pet management likely wont see the light of dayResponse to above.
