how not to view a summoner

I will clarify for people, this post of her's is in response to a post I made here:

Where I made the point that summoner should be more about the pet rather than the summoner and how MMO's have changed pet classes for (in my opinion) the worse by turning pets in to nothing more than a glorified dot. The OP is saying that if it did that (a summoner calling forth the actual large version of the primal) Titan (as an example) would be too powerful and Summoner would be a super class. Completely missing the point of what I was trying to say but deciding to make this thread saying that summoner will never be about actually summoning things and any other version would be too strong. Pretty sure the OP's first language is not english either.

My main point though is that if we were to get a new pet class, I would personally want the class to focus on the pet, I'm tired of pet class design making them nothing but a DoT you occasionally manage.

As long as they don't make enormous view-blocking pets I don't care what they do with summoner.

If it has enormous pets that block my view, I'll just run with black mages instead.
