So at no point did you go to the market board and look up and try on the weapon you were sinking all this time and Gil into? Sounds like you should have done your homework first

Thats the one from the HM trial. It makes no mention of the crafted ones from the ex trials and suggests that it is just the dropped ones you get to trade in. I hope it covers the crafted ones, but I don't think there are too many of those around.
You seem to be right. It would be incredibly sad if they didn't also include the crafted ones though. I mean if they're going to introduce a trade-in feature for the HM ones they might as well include the crafted ones I would think.
Indeed, my assumption was rushed. I'll hold my breath and see what tomorrow brings!
Sorry, but I don't think this is actually going to help OP. The patch notes only mention the weapons that drop from the trials, it says nothing about crafted ones.
And in fact I don't think they can let you swap crafted ones because doing so would definitely reset any spirit bond making a possibly used item with some people back into an unused item that can be resold. People would be able to glamour (locking in 1% spiritbond) then reset by changing the weapon back/forth and finally resell. SE will not want that which is why I don't think they'll allow swapping crafted ones.
At the moment when you swap an item with the calamity salvager (male to female etc) it resets the spirit bond on the new item which is why I believe this would be the same here, the only difference there is those items you swap are unsellable.
Sorry but unless they literally swap all one handed King Mog crafted wands into a two handed version (removing one-handed from the game) I think you're out of luck. At best they might add another recipe for a 2 handed version, but just don't feasibly see them swapping existing ones.
I would love to be wrong though!
The devs can make it that the weapon, the player get back, will have already 1% spiribound on it.And in fact I don't think they can let you swap crafted ones because doing so would definitely reset any spirit bond making a possibly used item with some people back into an unused item that can be resold. Yes they can... but history shows us that things tend to be slotted in using existing systems and no system for swapping and including spiritbond exists right now.
Also having just rechecked the patch notes, the only new items listed at the very bottom are the ones dropped from the primals (Mighty Mogrod being the new 2 handed Conjurer drop), there's no other items listed which could be the crafted equivalents so they're not even adding a new recipe for a two handed staff.
Maybe in a later patch, but definitely not in 3.2 it seemsSorry OP.
You know what this is?
Buyer's remorse.
Relatively simple. It's an impulsive buy without researching the item. OP, you really only have yourself to blame for this. Next time, stop being blinded by the shineys and look at everything. It happens to everyone.
Besides, as everyone else has honestly stated: 3.2 will let you deal with that. Or, sell it on the MB, take the profit, and head off to do something else.
This sums it up really well. +1You know what this is?

This was a good chuckle
Greetings,
While we just introduced two-handed versions of some of the previously one-handed-only conjurer and thaumaturge arms, we haven't yet finished converting them all. We're planning on adding two-handed version for weapons such as the Malevolent Moggle Mogwand in the future.
