no news about the red scrips cap?

Well, we can only speculate.

the current Rowena's token will become an intermediate currency, red scrip and the current Rowena's token rates will be lowered, and a new Rowena's tokan will become the main exchange

Since red Scrips will stay relevant, the cap will probably remain the same. But instead of buying Red Tokens for 50 red Scrips, we will now buy Red+1 Tokens for 50 red Scrips (and the former tokens will become cheaper).
OR the cap is raised to 1'000 and the new tokens will cost 100 red Scrips (the translation refers to lower rates and not a higher cap, though).

The only thing we definitely know is from the live letter:

There will be new items to exchange our red Scrips for.

I remember in the Live Letter there was mention of adding new items to the Red Scrip store. Maybe you'll be able to buy V materia at something like 300-400 red scrips a piece and have it be a 'weekly' purchase.

I'm irritated by the continuing stubbornness in making Tier V craft/gather materia more common. Right now, crafting and gathering at the highest levels is quite feasible without even a single Tier V meld. To justify the cost of melding a Tier V materia, you need to see enough of an improvement to your success rate to justify that expense.

Basically, if you have a an average of 95% HQ success rate now, and you're planning on spending two million gil on a Tier V Materia that brings your success rate up to 96%, you're going to have to craft an awful lot of things before that Tier V has paid for itself!

And this is to say nothing of the bowel-emptying horror of forbidden-melding Tier V's... I don't doubt that there are folks out there who have done it, but I DO doubt that they'll make enough profit to justify it before higher-level gear comes out that makes the gear holding the forbidden-melded Tier V's obsolete.

I'm a big fan of future-proofing equipment by melding it beyond current necessity - but the current state of Tier V rarity pretty much eliminates any possibility of overall profit even if you do wind up at the head of the pack once new content is released.

Live Letter also did mention that mats to make the new stuff will be easier to obtain which leads me to believe it won't be as codependent with gathering as all the 2* stuff has been. I'm also thinking maybe the base mats for new stuff will be Red Scrip purchased too which would prevent gear flooding since it's scrip gated. We'll find out soon enough.

Well, there will be new ilvl 180 Equipment for DOL/DOH:
- secondary Tools
- Belt
- Accessories

They can be exchanged against the current Red Rowena Tokens. I wonder if they are strong enough (especially CP wise).
Exchange rate will still be 50 Scrips for 1 Token.

I don't see anything new that can be exchanged directly against Red Scrips. Or will we have to use our Red Scrips to buy the new master books? Hm...

The Specialist crystals will grant a bonus to Craftsmanship and Control. I wonder how high it will be.

And the new crafted DOW/DOM gear is ilvl 220. Mats seem to be farmable through gathering in new spots.

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to mention: Purified Coke/Raziqcoat/etc. will now be found in the old 3.0 and 3.1 expert dungeons. This should finally increase the supply by a non-marginal amount.

I will stand by the fact that the red script stuff is weaker than HQ one

I think that master book IV will be red script buyable
But something like...
1 or 2 tome per week...

Can't wait to craft new stuff and farm 60 dungeon for the mâts !!!
