What if they cut the body in two, just like the actual Ifrit and Garuda egis, but with better model ? Would it be too complex again ?

You have to take into account the plethora of people that play this game on low end PC's and PS3's.

Yeah I don't know why they are glowing (and flying ? Flying Titan = oxymoron)
They told us "you will get new egis" -> nothing
They told us "you will get egi glamour" -> nothing

Do they just hate the summoner's egis or what

No, they just have no new information so they say nothing about it. Do they really have to baby us by updating us every single patch saying "We're still working on X" for people to believe they're actually still working on it? Man, people are paranoid around here.

I would personally like to see the egis become more detailed. I don't mind them being small and whatnot, but would it be too much to ask for something more similar to the original? Just a little bit?

Making egis more detailed is just asking for older systems to crap themselves trying to render 30 SMN's in town.

Forget redesigning Garuda. Just allow me to glamour Carbuncle onto all them. ;-;

Can't tell you how sad I was when I did the first SMN quest that you get an Egi from, seeing that Carbuncle be replaced by them things is more upsetting to me than any "sad" moment in the story. It was truly the greatest loss the WoL has felt so far.

Having a different texture is such a small change, if the game can handle minion's running around then that'll be no different.

Here, I'll paint it for you:

Ifrit can have the same texture as the Ifrit minion.

Titan can share the texture of the Gravel Golem minion, recolored.

Garuda can use recolored textures from the Griffin or a mixture of different cloudkin minions and some scaled minion.

So we can get absolutly magnificent armors, weapons, mounts et cetera BUT forget about egis, the ps3 can't make them better !

What's next ? No other playable race because ps3 limitation ?
