We wipe to missiles and the dps start yelling at me and the other tank. Last time I checked, it was the DPS' responsibility to position adds under the missiles..
I swear, I'm never going to finish my anima weapon... 5 more bones but people can't seem to handle even A1N anymore. Back to Hunts I guess...

Just ran a DF A2N. Some drooly little smn complained about mobs being all over and no one "killing the bombs". Myself as DRK and the other tank as PLD, both of us in tank stance, both using cooldowns, but whomever was supposed to be moving the bombs kept dragging them into the party as they were flashing. So, after a couple wipes, someone experienced with the bomb moving says they'll take over, but the little drooler goes off on how the tanks need to be using Grit and Shield Oath. I offered to let the little bleeder tank. He told me if he could change jobs, he'd show us how it's done. Looked him up, Gladiator at 31 and Dark Knight at 30, didn't even touch Marauder. Some people...

There's four adds and four DPS, that seems pretty straightforward. Even during my first time when no one explained mechanics, I saw the adds from the first part and then when .5 joined in I put two and two together. I didn't know what to do with the add, but I still grabbed it.

Anyway, I feel you buddy. I've been running Alex the past couple of days and there have been times when I just don't know why I even bother. Like this time in A3, there was this SMN who complained that there was a new person. He didn't move out of the way of the cone attack and died. Revived himself and watched the entire fight from outside. We did it and even skipped the second tornado phase, but really? And there was this other run where I don't know what was going on. Jigglybutt's HP was dropping off very, very slowly. I'm surprised we didn't get a third hand phase.

But then again there are some great runs that make it all worth it. My last three runs were fantastic. We completely skipped the the second phase on all of the completely. And on the second run, our second LB bar wasn't even halfway charged at the end. I think I was queued longer then the fight took place.

I finally got the courage to do Alex 1 as a Tank and while they went well, I felt I got thrown under the bus both times. First time we reach Faust and I ask "How are we doing this" Nothing said, he just runs in and I assume okay, guess I'm picking add, nope. Then he just says burn, kay fine then. No issue with Oppressor after he says he will pull South after .5 spawns.

Next run, we reach Faust and paladin tank at, I think 16k (im sitting just over 20k as DRK) we stand there a moment and I ask how they want to do it. 'You grab everything" I reply with "as in Boss and adds?" No comment, just sudden aggro and I am forced into tanking it all, not that it was an issue but seems like if someone asks a question, can we get a response before we jump into the fire? I have run A1 enough as a healer to know mechanics but that doesn't tell me how your thinking or what your going to try to pull mechanic wise. All in all, was fun but just kinda hurts my head. Though the one baffling thing that gets me is everyone seems to just immediately run out of the dungeon without looting the items that can be traded for Unidentified Items, kinda assumed that is why everyone is farming it now.

You can only trade in Precision items for the Unidentified items. Each person upon clear of a normal Alex turn gets 1 precision item in their inventory (no lotting required, everyone gets one). The items from the boxes still only gives the i190 Alex normal gear if you need those, most people don't anymore.

I just ran Arboretum with the most unaware tank of all times.
WAR, WHM, BLM and DRG.
Blm is abit undergeared, it's ok we all want the gear and clear content. After first boss tank pulls both honeycombs, resulting in me tp starved because shit was going slow.
He then proceeded to not move the queen bee for the lined up bees attack, WHM and I end up eating unnecessary damage.
Next, another mindless pulls. "Look, I'm a tank, I pull stuff".
Finally Belladona becomes a Gymkana, he keeps moving her all over the place.
Not a single Holy from whm in the whole run, just waiting there. A cure somewhere and that was it.
Why does this happen?

I'm not the greatest healer~! It makes me super uncomfortable so I wasn't gonna any to 60, but I want to be a mentor so I sucked it up and decided to level WHM.

Well, I'm level 59! And I'm actually learning to love it and I feel really comfortable with it, so when I got my third Vault run from leveling roulette, I thought it would be a walk in the park. I've healed a newbie tank before, an a well geared one, I have to be ready right?

Nope!

Tank runs in without buffs, I think that means he wants a fast run, knows what he's doing, so I try to dps, death happens. Oops! My bad. XD Play it cool, until the long hall, and he pulls everything, and I just can't keep up with the healing. I run out of mp, tank dies.

Here we go again. Maybe I am just reeeeally bad...

Struggle through and eventually the tank brings up its their first time, and only because the DPS complain at them about something.

I ask them to slow down because they were pulling while I was out of MP and while they were... and they are a DRK!

We make it to the last boss, and the dps heckle the tank, and I try to coach them a little, and then we go in. DPS end up not killing all the fire ball adds, we take a lot of dmg, I heal through it and then more dmg comes, I'm out of MP and everyone wants to stand in everything. I end up dying to the fire chain because I can't keep up with the dmg.

We start to run back and then suddenly I find myself in Lavendar beds.

-shrugs- Only the second time I've been kicked in two years. Fourty mins for a really small amount of EXP...

Left a bad taste in my mouth.

A1, I was a paladin and silently decided to tank both Faust and adds. Well, I pull Faust and loose it to the dragoon o.o I take it back, loose it again, take it back again. First add appears and I kinda can't build aggro on it, it's eating the monk instead (just WHY). I'm puzzled, look at my gear if it's broken, then look at my buff bar and really hope that I wasn't so dump to try to maintank in Sword Oath. Nope, Shield Oath is on. Meanwhile, the warrior turns on Defiance and picks the adds, and I have enough aggro on Faust to not fear that it'll run away from me again.

We kill it, move on to the Oppressor, I pull it, take it to the south and loose it to the dragoon ._.' I take it back and loose it to the monk. Shield Oath is still on, is it...? *cautious peek at my buff bar* Yep, it is. Some RoH combos later aggro is all mine and everyone does their thing. 0.5 dies shortly after the second jump, as 1.0 is at 4%, I turn on Sword Oath and help burning it down. We clear, I'm totally ashamed of having lost aggro multiple times and believe that people consider me stupid or "just another one of these FATE-leveled tanks who don't know their job". I wait for loot rolls, leave the duty and can't believe what I see in my chat log - this shitty show of mine got me four commendations o.o Now I'm really confused...

got a run that was probably the most frustrating run ever. The Vault. First time for me as AST lvl 57 in there, so still unsure how to go about at the last boss.

Group : PLD/DRG/BLM. (all three lvl 60)

Everything dies slow, never any flare or anything used. Just single target fire I / II. Which I dont care, as long as we can get through and no death.

We reach teh last boss. BLM takes many damages stand in AOE dies, first 1mn of the fight. Nothing I could do. The insults start, all kind of insults, everything towards me. We die at the fireballs since we didnt take them all down (yep only 3) So the group starts over. BLM demands to be healed, even though he stands in all aoe and refuses to move, this second run I manage ot keep him up. We reach the fireballs. You will not believe it, we killed 3 of the fireballs the BLM was just having no power whatsoever even with me in cleric we could only kill 3 fireballs and half of the fourth,so obviously mega explosion but I was ready this time so made it through except the BLM , not that he didnt have mana wall to use but it would have required less talking and more action on his part. Anyway some stupid mistake in the chain and we died but is no problem and insults continue, all wording you can imagine,which I dont care really since coming from someone that doesnt even manages to kill fireballs not even one, was spoutted towards me (I dont remember having met that one before but maybe he didnt like me for some reasons ?l )

So we try it for the third time. BLM pouts saying no heals no dps, well not that he was doing any in the first place and there I told the other 3 guys that we didnt need the BLM, three of us could kill the boss. The BLM starts mocking us and right a the first aoe dies, I left him there laying on the ground...during the whole fight it was only insults...guess what ? we killed the boss, three of us and none of us died, that last run was a smooth one.. So remove the rotten apple and everything goes right.

To note : there had been a vote kick send towards the BLM and I didnt initiated it, I refused, that as guy had to suffer through and stay with us.

Some people should just be baned from the game as a whole their behaviour is just not even matching this of a 2-yo child.

Got two commendations (something I must have done right along the way)
